EU Referendum - French minister in Calais UK border row

French government minister sparks a row by suggesting that France could end UK border controls in Calais if Britain leaves the European Union.

Emmanuel Macron said his country could also limit access to the single market and try to tempt London's bankers to relocate.  His comments come as David Cameron and Francois Hollande prepare for security and migration talks in France.

Leave campaigners dismissed the comments as "scaremongering".

Of course it's scaremongering and I'll bet that David Cameron is behind it.

I'd say that to go to these lengths they must be pretty desperate.  It's just another attempt to influence people who are undecided or who are easily led.  It's the rich and greedy who will lose if, or rather when we leave the EU.  It's no good for Britain any more and they know it!

As for the French, to hell with them.  The only reason there are so many immigrants in Calais is because the UK is seen as a soft touch.  Close the borders, problem solved!  While we're at it, they can have their crappy wine back because we prefer Californian these days anyway!

Queen Elizabeth II: Chinese officials were 'rude'.

Days have long passed since the British Empire was lost and the Lords and ladies of this country expected the rest of the world to kowtow to them. These very same Lords and Ladies are now demanding that we vote to stay in the EU, so as to keep their snouts in the trough. Brexit is all of the working class peoples chance to change the status quo. If you feel aggrieved by the way the system is treating you, VOTE LEAVE.

Not at all, you'd have to be crazy not to vote LEAVE.

Afghanistan and Nigeria 'possibly most corrupt countries', Cameron lets slip when speaking to the Queen, caught by a hot mic.

Do we need any more proof that Cameron is loosing it. And he's supposed to be a diplomat as our PM in world affairs. No wonder the rest of Europe thinks he's a clown.

"Angela Merkel sabotaged David Cameron's EU referendum deal". (check BBC NEWS)

They knew exactly what he was going to ask for and took appropriate steps to stop him. He was given exactly nothing, and then had the gall to return home bleating his wonderful successful negotiations. The EU masters are still laughing at the UK and intend to take control if the UK votes to REMAIN.

Its time for very clever newspaper journalists to reveal the real hidden secret people behind our puppet prime minister, the people that are pulling his strings and feeding him with all this PRO EU cr4p.
war if we leave, hundreds of thousands of job losses, property crashes, back of trading queues, everybody loosing thousands of pounds from their savings, etc etc. Really chamo, and you're supposed to be an intelligent politician!!!

EU referendum: Cameron warns UK exit could put peace at risk.

If this is the case, why did HE call a referendum in the first place? with all the other EU countries in serious financial and social trouble, why is it that if the UK leaves there will be a collapse in world peace. Yet again these tactics from the REMAIN brigade show their desperation to cling to wealth and power. The British people have now realised their lies and real motives.

Donald Trump says Britain would be 'better off' leaving the EU
Financial Times - ‎33 minutes ago‎
Britain will benefit from leaving the EU so it can better control migration, Donald Trump said on Friday, wading into the debate on the UK's membership just days after becoming the presumptive Republican nominee.

You may love him or hate him, but he speaks the simple truth, that's why so many Americans are supporting him. The American people are sick of their system that is not working, just as we in the UK are seeing the corruptness in our own allegiance with the EU.

Will the taxpayers of France and Germany continue to support the other countries of the EU if our contribution ceases.

This could be the end of Merkel's hope of the Fourth Reich.

Vote OUT!

Now I wonder who contacted the BCC and got John Longworth Director General of the British Chamber of Commerce suspended because he spoke out against the EU. Still more dirty tricks from a doggy Tory government and Bum chums that will stop at nothing to win.

This seems like an ideal job opportunity for out of work soldiers; put them to work guarding our coasts and ports.

Just because immigrants can leave France it doesn't mean we have to let them land here. Turn them back. Then France might not be quite so keen to let them in at the other end!

To be honest neither side is covering themselves in glory at the moment, the Yes campaign is invoking some dark unknown if we leave, yet the No campaign seems to think that it will be business as usual after we leave.
I suspect both are wrong.
What undecided people want to know is how leaving will affect holidays in Spain or Greece, the price of imported goods (including cars) from the EU.
