So far in the last month we've had the following:

Attacks in Paris on 13th November leaving 130 dead and 368 with injuries (90 serious). On the 2nd December there was the San Bernardino shooting which left 14 dead and 21 injured. More recently a knife attack at Leytonstone tube station and of course yesterday the knife attack at Poundland in Abingdon.

Obviously this is the tip of the iceberg and only a combination of the most recent or biggest news stories here in the UK in the last month. I haven't mentioned the deaths that occur every day that don't make world news and of course the various wars raging around the world and murders that don't make the news anywhere are still taking place.

It makes pretty grim reading and you just need to Google 'mass shootings' to get an insight into what's going on in the world. I know it all makes me feel very sad indeed. How does it make you feel?
