Captain Tom 'cult of white British nationalism' according to Church Of England

A CHURCH OF ENGLAND clergyman yesterday sparked fury as he branded the commemoration of Captain Sir Tom Moore as a "cult of white British nationalism".

The Reverend Jarel Robinson-Brown appeared to dismiss the efforts of the war hero, which had been praised by the Archbishop of Canterbury and political leaders.

I couldn't believe this when I first saw this on Sky TV this evening.  I was already disappointed by the lacklustre (non existent) participation in my area.  Nicola Sturgeon didn't seem as enthusiastic!

But this is nothing more than blatant racism in my opinion.  It's also insensitive, cruel and just a downright stupid comment to make, especially from someone so high up in the church.

Is this a hangover from the Black Lives Matters protests?  Will every white person who happens to fall in the media spotlight be judged in the same way?

It makes me sick.  It would be fitting if Jarel Robinson-Brown was removed from his post with the Church of England immediately.
