People who throw rubbish out of their car

There seems to be a coincidence with people who smoke and eat junk food being too lazy to cook clean up after themselves or find a bin , sorry if you do these things but are one of the few who do clear up after yourselves .

It's the people who leave all their rubbish on the tables at Mcdonalds, Burger-king or KFC, after eating, they just get up and go, sometimes the rubbish is piled high, to me that is sheer bone idleness.

Miserablemoaninggit- I agree with you partly but you cannot generalise everyone as scum simply because they claim benefits. Theres scum in all social classes. I have seen some kids from well to do parents who are as ill-mannered and loutish as benefit scum families. I've also met very decent people who claim benefit.

I just saw this otherwise respectable middle aged woman finish off her fag in her car before tossing out the window onto the pavement in front of my house. She then gets out and visits her sister who lives just across the road. It makes me very angry to see such slovenly, disrespectful behaviour. My sister smokes and once whilst visiting me, she tossed her fag butt onto the road outside my house without a second thought. I had a right go at her and made her pick it up and bin it but they just don't realise how filthy and annoying it is, especially to non smokers. If I empty my rubbish bin on their lawns Im sure they'd have something to say yet their filthy habit is acceptable to them?

I was walking through the underground and a well dressed woman in her twenties decided to clean out her handbag - she threw out her newspaper, chewing gum wrappers and some other tat and kept on walking - If I'd been quick enough I would have run after her saying "oh, you dropped your newspaper, here you go" I have to agree with 'miserable' Some people just aren't taught not to litter - I've heard kids say 'well it's a job for someone else' - yeah, probably them one day!

We are wasting our time with this gripe. Scum people will remain scum people all their lives. These basic lessons need to be learned as children. At the end of the day, we need massive and fundamental reform of the benefits system to stop children having children, who then go on to have children. They don't get the chance to learn, instead they just demand their 'rights', their benefits, their right to procreate, and perpetuate a cycle of scum behaviour. Sounds harsh, but it is true. If you don't believe me, then spend a few days riding on public transport - especially buses! - and your eyes will be opened. It is enough to sink into a pit of despair for the future of this country.

We live in a Me! Me!! Me!!! society. Litter, fag butts, chewing gum, anything goes. It's all down to poor attitude and non-acceptance of personal responsibility. What to do? Nothing.

Whatever happened to 'KEEP BRITAIN TIDY'? I'm sure Britain really WAS tidier during that campaign, and has degenerated into a rubbish tip since it ended. There is no message being sent out to the current generation that littering is bad. Hence, the problem.

the council and police don't seem to be bothered about litter mess and general crime, I called the police after a group of 9 men were using the children's play ground as a drug smoking shelter, over 2 weeks I must have called them 12 times, nobody ever came, if they are not bothered about drugs they are certainly not bothered about litter

I do agree with all that it is said, people have got selfish and this is another way of them showing that they only care for themselves. I wish that those cameras at traffic lights would be used to prosecute those people the same as if they were either parked in the wrong place or speeding. It is a health hazard, not only for the other car drivers but for pedestrians and it attracts vermin. Let's make more use of these cameras and I hope that people will think twice about littering if they face a fine . The councils needs to keep our roads and cities clean so why not make the litterers pay for the cleaners? Come on councils, here is another way of making money and one that we would all agree with!

SCUM! Pure and utter scum! People's behaviour means that they are in the category of 'scum'. Scum behaviour = scum! It amazes me how people behave. I have witnessed families walking along - parents followed by children, and what do I see? Parents, having consumed their coca-cola, or whatever, casually discard their plastic bottle into the nearest shrub, or verge, and walk on regardless, with their little, easily impressed, ignorant children scurrying along behind them. SCUM people = SCUM behaviour. The planet is doomed by these ignorant, ill-educated, selfish, self-centred, self-obsessed, nasty little individuals. I despair!
