Tuesday, the day of the week I hate the most

I hate Tuesdays because for some reason it's the kind of day that really drags on no matter what you are doing.  It's a strange day, perhaps because it's a kind of ‘nothing day’.

Tuesday's child, will surely fall on their face!

I mean we've got Mondays that mark the beginning of the week, then  Wednesdays that are the middle of the week, Thursdays mean that we are one day closer to the weekend, and then finally you've got Friday, the last working day of the week and then it's the weekend. Yippee!

But Tuesdays don't really seem to have any purpose in my eyes.  I think we should have 4-day weeks and 3 days weekends

Another reason I hate Tuesdays would be because of my job.  We have this big update that goes through on a Monday night, which means that there are lots of problems to sort out on Tuesday morning.

Also, thinking back to when I was at school, Tuesday was RE (religious education) day. Fortunately this didn’t actually consist of any education other than cleaning out the pond in the courtyard of the science department.  It was quite often rainy and cold though, so I have always associated this day with miserable weather and equally miserable tasks.

I vote that Fridays should be made another day of the weekend.  Then we wouldn't have the usual horrible Tuesdays that we have now.  It would be far easier to tolerate Tuesdays if you had a nice long weekend.

Oh all you Monday to Friday workers really annoy me with this Monday (or in this case Tuesday) hatred and the fact that you can't wait for the weekend to come etc!!!! What about those that work ALL week in jobs where life doesn't stop just because it's the weekend? Or a Bank Holiday? Or Christmas? Workers in jobs like that couldn't care a less if it's Tuesday, Friday or Sunday if you are down to work - then to work you go! Count yourselves lucky that you have times like Bank Hols and Christmas off as a given, and because every weekend, when most social occasions happen! People in jobs that are a 24/7 occupation often miss out on family time, and events that are held at weekends to suit the average 9-5 Mon to Fri worker! Get a grip of yourselves - so it's Monday? Or Tuesday so what? It's just a day at work like any other - stop moaning and count yourselves luck! In fact in some occupations the weekend is bl00dy awful! Try being a police officer or A and E employee at the weekend - not pleasant at all, considering the amount of extra trouble and casualties just because it's the weekend and so by tradition may feel they must go out and get as drunk as possible and cause trouble! I bet there are member of the workforce who breathe a sigh of relief when Monday arrives!!!

"I had to do a responce to lititure "
Patently a waste of time. I don't know why you even bother to go to school, you should probably be down a mine or sweeping the floor at MuckDonalds.

I really HATE Tuesdays than Mondays because I had some bad experiences every Tuesday. Here are some of my experiences I had every Tuesday.

Tuesday, January 25, 2011 - I had go to a full class detention on that day

Tuesday, January 32, 2011 - I had to do a responce to lititure and I got bullied at recess.

Tuesday, February 8, 2011 - My teacher got really mad at the whole class and we put all our heads down.

Its like the chaos theory: anything that can go wrong on Tuesdays, will go wrong on Tuesdays. They are the worst! People's suckish qualities always seem to bloom especially annoyingly on Tuesdays... And bad luck just runs wild.

Almost all natural and man made disasters and tragedies occur on Tuesdays, why this happens I have yet to figure out,I just call Tuesdays "Negative Day" no matter how positive you are something always 100% of the time brings you down on that day.

yep.. I do agree.. this tuesdays are it's a kind of ‘nothing day’..next to the week begining...makes to feel more and more boaring:
Trust me.. never ever in my life I faced tuesday as a lucky day....tht day ends up with some TRAGEDY...!!!never starts with comic day...to think of tuesday it self is unholy...
TUESDAY should be removed from the week itself...
it is completely un lucky day for me.

Making a 4 day week would eliminate Wednesday as the middle and make tuesday AND wednesday crap. just extending the pain.

I am so glad I came across this! I feel the exact same way about Tuesdays. I've said this for a long time now and I'm so glad someone else feels the same as me!! Tuesday sucks!

I hate Tuesdays as well. I always have a bad day when it's Tuesday. Even when I don't realize it's a Tuesday... I'll be having a horrible day and then I'll suddenly realize, "Oh hey, duh. It's horrible because it's Tuesday!"

That's really interesting. My experience of Tuesdays is equally awful, but quite different. But you have to start with Mondays, really. Monday morning is difficult - you're not in the frame of mind for thinking of all the things you need to get to work etc - but once you get over that glitch, Monday is exciting. There's swapping weekend stories, and even your job doesn't seem so bad, it's almost a novelty. Now Tuesdays, on the other hand is another matter. I'm always pretty tired on Tuesdays, no matter whether I've been busy at work or not. Sometimes I'll have had a really good day and not want to go to sleep, and sometimes I have orchestra in the evenings which is great fun, but it takes it out of you. Either way, it's a rare Tuesday where I wake up feeling anything other than whacked. Then a lot of bad things seem to happen on Tuesdays, or maybe it's just the tiredness that makes them seem that way because you don't take them in your stride. So they're not "nothing" days for me, more "ordeal" days that you need to get through so that you can enjoy the wonderful "hump" day, Wednesday. But don't get me started on Thursdays...

Are you honestly having a go at tuesday? its just a day like any other you cant have a go at a specific day for no apparent reason than "It seems to drag"

I personally vote for a week full of Fridays because that's my favourite day of the week. If there was any particular day I would like to drop though it would definitely be Monday (moan-day!!!)

Tuesday's should be shot for their own good. They're rotten. I love my job, but no matter what I do Tuesday's seem at least twice as long as any other day. Monday's are a nice hazy day, they zip by, I think the weekend crash comes on tuesdays. But all my life I've hated them, through school, college, work. They're manky. I feel extremly strongly about their poxiness. Today is of course Tuesday. Grrrrr.

hi all, the environment and furture is changing constantly, we all don't know what would happen in the next day, so why not treat everyday equally as a completely new different day? be positive......

Monday is Moan-day (hate Monday morning feeling)

Tuesday is To-do-day (busy busy better do some work)

Wednesday is Wet-day (bit pointless, middle of the week, probably raining)

Thursday is Thirst-day (ooh, nearly the weekend, thirsty for that beer)

Friday is Fly-day (yippee, Fridays' go quick and never do any work)

And the weekend, well it's the weekend

copyright, the week - 16-Aug-06 15:29

Tuesday - isn't a proper day - its not the start of the week mid week or heading towards the weekend. It should be les than 24 hours for this reason.
