It took me a long time to get my parents to notice, and was even harder to get my school and college to notice too. http://www.weeklygripe.co.uk/a447.asp I have just started a course as a mature student. To assist me I have a note taker and communication support worker, so people will often see them with me in class and are put off, almost afraid of approaching me. http://www.weeklygripe.co.uk/a445.asp I've just been through helping my daughter choose her options at school and was shocked at the poor subject choices available.
