BBC TV presenters that think they are funny

The BBC's presenters think they are so damned comical when they are not funny at all. The way they speak annoys me. Can all presenters just stick to the script or the facts and stop trying to inject their humour?

Amy Winehouse dies and the press can't get enough

I am basically disgusted by the amount of media attention that the death of Amy Winehouse has generated. Personally, I'd say that anyone dying so young is a waste of a life regardless of whether or not they're famous

4OD adverts are annoying and can't be skipped

Watching a programme on 4OD I’m so angry right now barely think straight, and it was all because I was caught in a loop of adverts, unable to move forward, skip the ads and get to the rest of the programme!

Too much Apple product placement on Neighbours

Everywhere you look someone is pulling out an Apple notebook or poking away at an iPhone. When someone goes out for a run (this is something they do a lot in Australia apparently) they have an iPod strapped to themselves.

Please insert your new Sky viewing card

This is a list of my dealings with Sky recently. The problems I faced stemmed from the fact that my new viewing card had been sent to the wrong address and I had a 'Please insert your new Sky viewing card' message on screen.

Digital TV in a poor signal strength area

I'm just wondering who on earth decided that digital TV through an aerial is better than analogue? Oh yes, it has it's benefits of course it does and then there's the all singing all dancing digi-boxes...

EastEnders not suitable for children

I admit I do find EastEnders quite entertaining as it makes me feel that my life isn't so bad after all. But I wouldn't dream of letting my 9 year old watch it as it is wholly unsuitable for kids in my opinion.

Paying the cable company to watch commercials

I have no problems with sponsors that pay the networks to advertise their goods and services. But why must I pay the cable companies to watch that which I totally abhor, (commercials)? Kind of double dipping isn't it?

Dumbed down TV series with a stupid ending

Is it me, or are TV series of late getting really strange and not making any sense? It's not just the story line that I'm griping about it's then endings as well. Take the sci-fi shows Lost and Flashforward for example.

Mercia radio, boring and unimaginative

My main complaint at the moment is work related in that we are forced to listen to one radio station all day long and it is quite literally driving me round the bend. This radio station is called Mercia (Smooth Radio).
