Search suggestions are really annoying

I find it really annoying when I'm trying to order something online and I type in my address and then it says there's a problem. I'm then presented with a couple of different 'suggestions' for my address. What a cheek? Don't I know where I live? The trouble is, if you're not careful or in a rush, you can miss this. Then the item you've paid for gets sent to somebody else. The other thing is eBay. Again, it's very frustrating when you enter something into the search box and it then decides to give you a number of 'suggestions'. I actually find this a bit insulting. My original search term contained the item that I wanted and I'm not really interested in what someone or something else thinks I should be looking for. Just show me the items I want to look at and stop offering suggestions! Again, with various search engines. You start typing something into the search box and you get a list of suggestions. You type in exactly what you want and click on submit. What happens next? You get that irritating message 'Did you mean such-and-such?' No, I didn't, I know exactly what I'm searching for thank you very much. Stop interfering and offering suggestions. Gripe over.
