Migration at 323,000 prompts EU referendum row

New figures showing net migration to the UK remains near record levels have sparked a row between the two sides in the EU referendum debate.

Home Secretary Theresa May says it is too high but says benefit curbs David Cameron negotiated will reduce it.

UKIP leader Nigel Farage says the only way to get immigration under control is to leave the EU in June's referendum.

full story

This is a hot topic at the moment and I for one will be voting to leave in June.

Successive governments have failed to bring immigration under control.  This country has been handed over bit at a time for far too long and it's time to take it back.

Sure, there might be some tough times ahead, but plenty of countries are getting along fine without Europe and we will too.

It's the greedy rich big businesses and fat cat politicians that are worried they may loose their wealth.  That's precisely why there's a lot of scaremongering going on right now!

EU referendum: Airbus warns Out vote may hit investment
BBC News - ‎54 minutes ago‎
One of the world's largest aerospace firms has written to its 15,000 UK employees warning about the risks of voting to leave the European Union

More blackmail from the PRO side.

If Aerospace workers vote to stay in (as being blackmailed to do so), Aerospace bosses will employ cheap foreign immigrants anyway, and then get rid of the people that work there now.

EU Referendum Poll Shows Young People Could Hold Key To June Vote
If you're under 35, you're more likely to be pro-EU and too apathetic to vote.

Never a truer word spoken. Looks like the PRO EU bods are beginning to resign themselves to the inevitable fact that the UK people have finally woken to the corrupt state of the EU and just how much money we are putting in these peoples pockets so they can lead a privileged life style at our expense.

The pro-Brexit chairman of the pub chain JD Wetherspoon has accused David Cameron of using “Paisleyite language” to describe the possible impact of the leaving the EU.

Tim Martin, who grew up in Northern Ireland, criticised the prime minister for leading the remain campaign and using divisive, sectarian language reminiscent of the rhetoric of the late Ian Paisley, the former leader of Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist party.

Martin accused the pro-EU camp of using insults and scare tactics to belittle their opponents, and said Cameron should be a neutral figure instead of leading the remain campaign.

No more migrants - No more asylum seekers! No more economic migrants! They are swamping access to the NHS and its services, which I have fully paid up for. These people haven't. Look around the GP's waiting room when you are next there. Where did all these strange looking peoples come from? Or are they there because this nation loves being taken advantage of?

We don't need anymore people here. The prime cause of the problems in this world is overpopulation.

Don't feel guilty that our ancestors might seemingly have been said or blamed to have exploited the rest of the world. Their numbers were tiny in comparison with numbers on the move today. Most of these people would have been left behind in the stone age if it wasn't for the British Empire.

The only peoples who might have a real claim for entry and residence here are those who can prove that they have a full and direct ancestry of people born and bred here.

Whilst I personally accept the Poles and Czechs who fought in the Battle of Britain and their descendants as having full rights here, that claim does not apply in my mind to their compatriots back home. Anyone who did not serve this nation in its hour of need, or who fought against it, anyone who is a descendant of such people, why should I welcome them with open arms?

Why should I accept the descendants of the Mau-Mau, or the descendants of Napoleon's Grande Armée? Why should I accept the descendants of the Spanish Armada, or anyone involved in that enterprise?

Even the descendants of the Irish who fought against British rule of their island whould not have automatic access here, so too for the Scotch of the '15 and '45 rebellions. These people are the descendants of traitors.

Those arriving here must prove their right of access, and be given strict rules concerning the right to stay here, or be sent home. Health care should not be automatically free.

Mr Schäuble says Brexit “doesn’t make sense” and would be a “catastrophe” for European Union.

"He also warns that the UK would still have to put up with free movement of EU migrants if it left as a member because that is the price of a trade deal with the single market".

You see, even if we leave, the EU dictators will still try to control the UK with their master plan for a federal super state. Think long and hard before surrendering your independence and freedom, there's a lot more at stake than these super powerful politicians are telling you.

Iain Duncan Smith: "Remain campaign is trying to 'bully' Britain into staying in EU"

Stay in the EU, and share the same fate as it disintegrates into chaos.

Leave the EU and we as a nation survive.

Make no mistake, the EU is a mortally wounded creature that has inflicted it's own death upon itself. And when the collapse finally comes those that are shouting for us to stay will be nowhere to be found.

The fate of your family, children, love ones and this country is firmly in our hands.

Whence Europe?

Whence Europe?

Who runs Europe?

As I see it, the New Europe is being run by those who want to re-establish the former Austro-Hungarian empire in central and eastern Europe , basically the Catholic church. Germany wants economic reparations from having lost two world wars the losses which were utterly traumatic to it [- The German nation and its peoples never had real psycho-therapy after these traumas. Germany is still in the throes of re-uniting after the Cold War.] France believes itself to be the re-incarnation of the Napoleonic Empire, in modern times led by Marshal Petain and latterly General de Gaulle. Spain thinks it is the renaissance of the Spain of Phillip II, husband of Mary Tudor. Europe is overwhelmingly Catholic! Where does Britain think it can fit into this jigsaw?

Critics say the requirement to remain loyal to his former employer means the Business Secretary could be unable to stand up for British interests in disputes with Brussels.

It comes amid growing pressure on Lord Mandelson to reveal the identity of the trustees who have been appointed to manage the "blind trust" which now controls his financial interests.

One of the three disclosures he made in the register of ministers' interests last week was that he will receive "a European Commission pension at the age of 65".

Lord Mandelson is entitled to the cash because he was the EU's trade commissioner from November 2004 to the middle of last year.

Under the terms of the deal, he will receive an index-linked pension of £31,000 a year when he turns 65. The cost of buying such a deal on the private market would be £550,000.

"Brexit Campaign Talking 'Absolute Rubbish," Says Lord Mandelson

The reason Lord Mandelson wants to stay on the right side of Brussels is for the sake of his £31000 per annum pension granted as a former European Commissioner. More proof of which side these PRO EU campaigners are placing their allegiance.

These are the typical elite classes that the Tories represent, the hidden faces behind staying in the EU, their noses firmly in the trough. I shall vote "OUT" as staying in will mean becoming (eventually) part of the United States of Europe, which will be, in practice The Fourth Reich imposed by economic rather than armed force. If you doubt this look back over Germany's bullying of Greece when its governemnt did not want to toe the EU line.

Adolph Hitler didn't defeat us, don't let Angela Merkel!
