Sport and Recreation
Too much football, rugby and sport in general on the telly? Ticked off by queues at theme parks? Or maybe you can't afford to go on holiday and are fed up paying over the odds to pitch a tent in a muddy field here in the UK? Here you'll find a variety of gripes about relating to sport and leisure activities

Basketball game, but no money for a worthy cause
I do respect that these troubled times are difficult, and once in a while it's nice for those in financial distress to seek an outlet like a game of basketball. But shouldn't money raised at these events go towards the community?

Zorbing experience day gift left us deflated
For those who don't know, Zorbing is classed as an adrenaline or thrill sport, perhaps not in the same league as Sky Diving or Microlight flying but it's generally considered to be quite an exciting sport.

Southport Air Show was an expensive day out
Southport Air Show was a rip-off in my opinion! I decided to go to the air show at Southport for the first time this year and as soon as I arrived there I began haemorrhaging money very quickly indeed.

Camping and campsites in the UK
The summer is here and a lucky few are heading off to foreign beaches for a couple of weeks, whilst the rest of us who aren't so affluent will have to settle for a few days in a campsite somewhere in the UK.

No privacy with kids trampoline in the garden
Perhaps it's just me getting old, but what's with this new craze of having a kids trampoline in your back garden? Does anyone else feel that trampolines are an intrusion of privacy or is it just me?

Football, the players, managers and fans
This gripe is probably going to annoy a lot of people but it's got to be done! Football (especially in England) really gets on my nerves and because it's everywhere, all the time.

Verbal abuse shouted at football players
In light of the recent news headlines I feel the situation has gone too far. It has reached the stage where so called 'football fans' can get away with screaming verbal abuse, often about the players family.

Adelaide bars and clubs
Here's my gripe about dress codes in bars and nightclubs. In the city where I live (Adelaide), I am restricted to just three bars where I can go out for a drink. I find it extremely annoying that I am refused entry to the other venues.

Fed up with the World Cup on TV and in the news
So its World Cup time again is it, who would have guessed? We’ve had the phenomenon of the England flags flying from cars for quite a while now, but the new world cup songs and all the hype is all too much.

These people are not really Chelsea football fans
I'm fed up with these pseudo Chelsea fans. They're not real football fans, and they have only migrated towards Chelsea Footbal Club because they think it might be trendy or something.

English football hooligans + alcohol = trouble
I guess I have thought this for some time now, but you're all just a bunch of hooligans aren't you? I'm referring of course to English football, and in some cases rugby too.

Charity parachute skydive, but who pays for it?
Last year I did a charity skydive and naturally sent them all the money I raised. However, I have since discovered that some people use the sponsorship money to pay for their jump. I think this is simply terrible and possibly even dishonest.

Long queues at Alton Towers, where's the fun?
Alton Towers is a great place to go. A great place if you like watching other people go on roller coasters whilst you queue for hours. If you hate queueing don't bother with Alton Towers!

Should you give up your motorcycle for kids?
I really can’t understand new parents that give up the things they enjoy when the baby is born. For goodness sake, why sell the bike?

Kids who ride quad bikes on public land
After years of saving and thousands of pounds of borrowing I have bought my first house. I work hard, pay my taxes and abide by the laws of the land.

Too much football and sport on television
I turn on the TV when I get home from work to catch up on the latest news headlines and get the latest football news instead.
