TalkTalk, yet another complaint
TalkTalk seem to be a company that employ salesmen who pressurise elderly, vulnerable people into signing up for services they neither understand nor are able to use. My mum for example ended up on a tariff she never agreed to!

Incompetent garage couldn't fix my car
Around November/December time last year my car heater stopped working and as my father was a mechanic, I asked him to have a quick look to see if he could see what was wrong.

Barking dog makes life hell
I am fed up with barking dogs. Why is it that some people just don't care about others and in particular they don't give a second thought to how their pets may affect their neighbours? Some of us just want a bit of peace and quiet.

Dog poop on our doorstep
We have a real problem with dog poop left quite literally on our doorstep by some selfish individual who is either too lazy or too stupid to pick it up and put it in the bin provided for this purpose!

Horse manure on the footpath
I was reading the gripe about horse manure on the road and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to bring up something that has been irritating me for the last couple of weeks. What about horse manure on the footpath?

Dogs not allowed on some buses
I travel on buses and trains daily for my work during the week and shopping or leisure weekends. I have done this for a fair number of years and have never seen anything close to what I witnessed yesterday.

There aren't enough bridle paths
Horse riders constantly get moaned at for being on the road thereby causing motorists to have to slow down. I often hear people say 'horses shouldn't be on roads, that’s what bridle paths are for'.

Cruel tradition that kills horses
Having found out that a man drowned a horse in a river at Appleby Horse Fair this year, I ask myself WHY do we allow these cruel events to continue in the name of tradition?

My dog wasn't allowed on the bus
I take the 219 bus every day to and from work and I am very disappointed in the unfair and rude way I was treated by one of the drivers. I was refused entry with my dog and the driver simply drove off without any explanation.

Thoughts from a smoker
We have as smokers of the world endured the past, just short of a week the Smoking Ban, and it has proved to be exactly what I expected with the majority of the pub users smoking outside.

Mosquito bites are a real pain
Mosquito bites are a real pain. I am on holiday for the first time in ages and have only been here a matter of hours and it would seem that dinner is served and I am the first course.

Some horse owners are rude
For the past two to three weeks I have driven home and about 3 times per week I have met the same lady and daughter and their horse. Each time I see them I slow right down to a walking pace.

Middle lane morons on the motorway
Why do some drivers think that the centre lane on motorways is the correct one to use at all times, and don’t they realize that by doing so they are effectively blocking off the nearside lane to all other road users.

Rottweiler kept as a guard dog
There are too many news stories about children being bitten by Rottweilers for it to be ignored any longer. I think that the dangerous dogs act doesn’t go far enough to protect the public as far as these dogs are concerned.

House bugs in the summer
One of the things I don't like about the summer months is the way your house gets invaded by flies and crawling bugs. Not a fan of them so I wage a war and dig out the insecticide.

Get your dog on a lead
I’m fed up with dog owners who let their dogs off the lead in parks and public places. I’m not that keen on having someone’s mutt race up to me and sniff my crotch then jump all over me.

Dolphins and porpoises are dying
Dolphins and porpoises are dying in hundreds, maybe thousands, in fishing nets around the UK. The awful spectacle of dead dolphins on our beaches will continue unless more action is taken.

No bird flu vaccine for my poultry
Bird Flu has now been confirmed in the UK. I'm sick and tired of reading and hearing about Asian bird flu (HN51) and even more concerned about the slow release of a vaccine for my birds.

Cat killed by sick individuals
It makes me sick when I hear how some people in this country can be so nasty to animals, particularly cats. All too frequently there are stories in the news of cruelty and horrible deaths and it has just got to be stopped.

Pheasants loose on the road
Why do these dozy birds always get in the way? On my way to work this morning I took I slightly different route than usual and on one particular road there were pheasants everywhere.

Dog owners are irresponsible
What really gets my goat up are irresponsible people who own dogs. Other pet owners I can tolerate, but urban dog owners are the pits and in my opinion should be placed on wanted posters offering 'Dead or Alive' rewards.

In praise of the horse
Pause for a few moments and consider the fate of Homo Sapiens without the helping hoof of his friend The Horse. A pretty pointless task really.

Horse manure on the road
As a biker I do not understand why horses are allowed on the road. Horse riders are for ever complaining about vehicles not giving them room, yet they allow their animals to foul the road.
