Time to sort out recycling
I'm trying to work out what exactly it is I get for my council tax, particularly when it comes to recycling and rubbish disposal. As far as I can see I'm not exactly getting value for money.

British Gas profit while I freeze
'British Gas profits jump to £571m' the headline said. Well that little nugget of information did nothing to warm the cockles of my heart I can tell you, because I’d really rather not know how bloated their coffers have become.

Heating system upgrade is causing stress
I am absolutely furious with British Gas regarding their attitude to elderly people who are having new heating systems fitted via government initiative! I have actually lost track of excuses given for all the administrative 'delays'.

Post office worker takes a shortcut
I have personally asked the postal carriers to stay off my lawn for the simple fact they are making a path and ruining the lawn, let alone depriving me of the privacy that I am entitled to in my home!

Doorstep selling and cold calling
I've just been interrupted in the middle of my work by yet another one of these people that turn up on your doorstep either selling stuff or getting home owners to fill in some sort of stupid survey questionnaire.

Conflict with neighbour over a tree
We are currently in the middle of a conflict with our neighbours. They're complaining because we trimmed a willow tree of theirs which overhangs our garden. They clearly have nothing better to do than moan.

Electricity prices getting silly
Over the past 18 months we have heard the rumours and seen press statements about Electricity prices rising, but it’s getting silly now. Prior to privatisation we all paid reasonable amounts for these life sustaining products.

I can't afford to buy a house
I am in the very unfortunate position of being unable to afford to buy a house. My partner and I both work and earn decent salaries, yet we still cannot afford to buy a house together because of the current state of the housing market.

Moving home has taken a year
I'm at the end of my very long tether, why, well 'I'm moving home' there I said it those three words that now strike gut wrenching anxiety, empty pockets and a telephone manner my mother would definately NOT be happy about!

Household waste recycling
Every week I recycle my cardboard, plastics, tins and glass etc. I have decided that it is a lot easier and less hassle just to chuck my household rubbish in the bin instead though because the council aren't making it straighforward.

Conveyancing solicitors nightmare
Conveyancing solicitors are a tricky bunch it would seem. Make sure you find a decent one and don't end up with a bunch of cowboys that charge ridiculous fees and provide silly quotes.

Council tax on an empty property
I'm moving to live with my girlfriend, but leaving my property empty and furnished until the house is sold. I would be better off living there or just burning my furniture instead because I only get a 10% reduction on my council tax.

Moving house is stressful
Moving house and packing has got to be one of the most stressful things you will ever do. Having just gone through the process I swear I wont be doing it again for a long time.

I hate cutting the grass
I hate cutting the grass during the summer, because I'd rather be laid back and chilled out. Who wants to get the lawnmower out at the weekend and toil a way on your day off?

Estate agents and greedy landlords
Estate agents and landlords are greedy. I despise these wealthy people who buy up property to let. They then rent out their houses for an absolute fortune to the rest of us that can no longer afford to buy.
