BBC TV presenters that think they are funny
The BBC's presenters think they are so damned comical when they are not funny at all. The way they speak annoys me. Can all presenters just stick to the script or the facts and stop trying to inject their humour?

Amy Winehouse dies and the press can't get enough
I am basically disgusted by the amount of media attention that the death of Amy Winehouse has generated. Personally, I'd say that anyone dying so young is a waste of a life regardless of whether or not they're famous

4OD adverts are annoying and can't be skipped
Watching a programme on 4OD I’m so angry right now barely think straight, and it was all because I was caught in a loop of adverts, unable to move forward, skip the ads and get to the rest of the programme!

Too much Apple product placement on Neighbours
Everywhere you look someone is pulling out an Apple notebook or poking away at an iPhone. When someone goes out for a run (this is something they do a lot in Australia apparently) they have an iPod strapped to themselves.

Please insert your new Sky viewing card
This is a list of my dealings with Sky recently. The problems I faced stemmed from the fact that my new viewing card had been sent to the wrong address and I had a 'Please insert your new Sky viewing card' message on screen.

Digital TV in a poor signal strength area
I'm just wondering who on earth decided that digital TV through an aerial is better than analogue? Oh yes, it has it's benefits of course it does and then there's the all singing all dancing digi-boxes...

EastEnders not suitable for children
I admit I do find EastEnders quite entertaining as it makes me feel that my life isn't so bad after all. But I wouldn't dream of letting my 9 year old watch it as it is wholly unsuitable for kids in my opinion.

Paying the cable company to watch commercials
I have no problems with sponsors that pay the networks to advertise their goods and services. But why must I pay the cable companies to watch that which I totally abhor, (commercials)? Kind of double dipping isn't it?
13-Jul-10 15:50

Dumbed down TV series with a stupid ending
Is it me, or are TV series of late getting really strange and not making any sense? It's not just the story line that I'm griping about it's then endings as well. Take the sci-fi shows Lost and Flashforward for example.

Mercia radio, boring and unimaginative
My main complaint at the moment is work related in that we are forced to listen to one radio station all day long and it is quite literally driving me round the bend. This radio station is called Mercia (Smooth Radio).
28-Mar-10 17:17

TV spoiled by 'coming up next' on screen
'Coming Up' - It's a phrase that most television presenters have to use at the start of their program or just before the commercial break. Just hearing those words now sets my nerves on edge.
17-Nov-09 19:47

Introduce a friend to Sky TV offer
I am fed up with Sky. I tried to take advantage of their 'Introduce a friend to Sky TV' offer, but ended up wasting money on the phone to customer service. I haven't received the vouchers, nor has the friend that introduced me!
10-Sep-09 16:37

Cinemas are too busy on Orange Wednesdays
Twice recently I have failed to get in to see the film of my choice on Orange Wednesday. Tonight's experience was worse than ever though! We had to queue along a main road to get into the participating cinema car park.
29-Jul-09 21:31

Watching TV on the Internet - just stop it!
The Television set is one of the greatest inventions of all time. So when did we decide that it wasn't good enough any more, and we needed the ability to watch TV shows on our computers and/or mobile phone?
25-Jun-09 09:32

Annoyed by TV presenters who mumble on BBC Click
I really enjoy watching BBC click, it's probably one of my favourite factual programmes. There's only one thing that spoils my viewing pleasure though. I often find it quite difficult to hear what Spencer Kelly is saying sometimes.
18-Jun-09 07:00

Coming up next on TV ads are annoying
Do the television companies think that we do not have TV guides or are incapable of finding out for ourselves what's on next? Most people have access to a TV guide of some description!
31-Mar-09 18:58

Sky TV on-screen logos and adverts are annoying
I want to gripe about something which is utterly ruining my enjoyment of television. The few broadcasts that are worthy of my time are forever blighted by one of the diseases of 21st century broadcasting: On-screen logos.
20-Feb-09 16:51

TV complaints, if you don't like it turn it off
Complaints from people about stuff on TV. If you are easily upset by certain content on the BBC then just turn your TV off and stop moaning. It's there to entertain everyone you know, not just you!
4-Feb-09 19:55

Noise control devices will destroy live music
The government want to stop us from hurting our ears now!! From the new tax year anyone applying or re-applying for an entertainment license must have a noise control device fitted to the venue.
21-Jan-09 17:48

A TV licence to watch BBC1 online - ridiculous!
Who in their right mind would want to buy a TV licence to watch BBC1 online. It's NOT as good as watching a television and although it's definitely watchable, the image quality and frame rate are in no way comparable.
2-Dec-08 09:22

Ticket touts buying up all the concert tickets
Ticket touts, they're not music fans and they are ruining it for people who enjoy music and would love to go and see a particular band live. They are the sort of people who probably don't even have a proper job.
17-Oct-08 21:35

Why is digital television slower than analogue?
The Analogue switch over! We are being sold the future as digital; cars, kitchen appliances, cameras, TV, radio, supermarkets. But the future is sluggish. The future is not performing and there is no instant gratification...
18-Aug-08 17:38

Large concert venues not worth the ticket price
I have just come back from a live concert at the NEC arena in Birmingham and I have got to say that I am less than impressed with what I received for my money. The sounds quality was absolutely dismal.
28-Jun-08 16:19

Celebrities and their alter ego
No matter what a person is celebrated in whether it be acting, presenting, singing or sports, why do they always choose to live their alter egos? It can only be put down to the obscene amount of money paid to them.
24-Jun-08 16:29

Unable to skip anti-piracy adverts on DVD
I don't know if this annoys anyone else, but when I buy a DVD I don't want to spend five minutes watching the anti-piracy advert or the film companies trailers, some go on for ages and it wont let you skip them or fast forward.

What has happened to British music?
Please explain to me how a British youngster can identify with music borne out of US ghettos that represents a US way of life? Where are all the great British rock bands and what happened to the British music scene?
14-Feb-08 20:08

Sky insurance nightmare for Mum
These big companies make me so angry! Quick to take our money but not that quick to sort a minor problem out! The 'nice' lady at Sky forgot to tell my mum that repairs are carried out by a sub-contractor!
4-Feb-08 23:55

Wasting money on Sky and Sky Plus
Sky Plus and regular Sky have both proved to be a waste of money and time as far as I am concerned. I started in happy, positive mood by installing a dish on top of my roof which is 5 stories up.
28-Dec-07 15:15

Why would you want to cancel Sky?
I recently subscribed to the Sky TV, Broadband, and Telephone service, after having been with Telewest and Virgin Media for the past couple of years. What a disaster! First of all, the TV service is mediocre at best.
9-Aug-07 12:23

People talking through a film at the cinema
Why is it that people are no longer capable of sitting in a cinema for the length of a movie and keeping their mouths shut? They think they're sitting in their own living room and proceed to talk all the way through the movie.
27-Jun-07 17:56

Sky problems are driving me mad
I have been a customer of Sky for four years now and despite the fact that our bill mysteriously crept up 6 months ago, or the time they decided I had joined Sky talk plan, everything had gone smoothly so far.
22-May-07 14:01

Sky Movies a waste of money
Sky have now changed the format of their movie channels and in my opinion, Sky Movies can no longer be considered the same value for money that it once used to be. Anyone else fed up with all the repeats?
30-Apr-07 23:30

Sky Movies PIN number annoying
Every time I try to record a film on sky movies, I get the 'Enter your pin number' message at the bottom of the screen and the film doesn't come on until you enter this pin number.
9-Apr-07 19:16

Fed up with celebrity TV shows
I just can’t watch another so called celebrity show! Who are these people? They were all in the celebrity bracket once upon a time, but not now just a bunch of washed up jobbers who signed away their dignity.
1-Feb-07 16:47

Sensational breaking news from the BBC!
How long does news take to break? I ask this because whilst watching television, BBC Breakfast News came on as usual with some breaking news, then two hours later, exactly the same headlines!
25-Oct-06 00:32

Shakespeare is overrated tosh in my opinion
I watched a performance of Romeo and Juliet who some say is a tragedy about two star struck lovers, but that is so far from the truth in my opinion. In fact it’s more like a stupid story about a serial killer
20-Oct-06 23:59

Why do radio stations all play the same songs?
I have noticed for some time now that all the commercial radio stations that I can tune in to seem to have the same play lists. It really cracks me up when they advertise themselves as 'your local music variety station' or whatever.
18-Sep-06 18:16

No more Chris Evans radio show
Is anyone else really fed up with listening to Chris Evans on his Radio 2 show broadcast every day around teatime? What he did on Wednesday was so unforgivable we switched off the radio in disgust and haven't put it on since!
6-Sep-06 21:00

Sky customer services complaints
This is compelling gripe from a subscriber to Sky’s digital entertainment services. When attempting to cancel his subscription, this customer was met by delays and an extremely poor customer service experience.
27-Mar-06 13:23

Too many adverts on TV and radio
I don’t have a TV and there is a very good reason for that. Apart from the mindless dribble that one has to endure and the cost of the TV License, there appears to be an endless stream of adverts to contend with!
20-Feb-06 17:07

Who cares about oscar awards anyway?
Oscar awards time already, when one of Hollywood's most exclusive clubs get it together and come up with the Oscar Nominations. It's nothing more than celebrity backslapping.
3-Feb-06 17:23

Gutiar tab and lyric sites can't close, we need them
So the music industry is taking its war to song lyrics and guitar tab web sites are they? The MPA want the owners of web sites that publish lyrics, sheet music and guitar tabs to do some jail time apparently.
10-Dec-05 15:18

Don't play the short version of 'Bat out of Hell'
One of my favourite songs from Meat Loaf’s Bat Out Of Hell album is the title track by the same name, but it really annoys me when I’m listening to it on the radio and the song gets cut short.
24-Nov-05 15:04

The radio DJ never plays my request
It’s the same old story on the radio and at the local nightspot.
26-Oct-05 18:16

Reality TV shows aren't real life
Television has changed forever and not necessarily for the better in my opinion. My concern is with that certain type of show known as ‘Reality TV’.
19-Oct-05 18:27

Forced to listen to your hip hop and rap
I find people who use a personal stereo on public transport, with it turned up loud extremely annoying. There's nothing worse than being forced to listen to someone else's taste in music.
8-Jul-05 20:14

Boy bands all sound the same to me
Boy bands McFly, Westlife, Boy Zone, NSync, Backstreet Boys, and Hanson what do all these well known band all have in common?... They are all talentless puppets.
3-May-05 12:08

Glastonbury Festival bans heavy rock / metal bands
I've never been to the Glastonbury festival, and it looks like I am probably never going to go now because of their policy on banning rock bands from playing.
26-Jun-02 14:28

Milton Keynes Bowl no food, drink cans or alcohol
I recently went to see ACDC and some other bands at the bowl in Milton Keynes and although I had a great day out there with my friends, the experience was somewhat tainted because I felt that we were being seriously ripped off.
1-Jul-01 11:00

BBC not worth the cost of a TV Licence
There used to be a time in the UK when a small handfull of TV channels were all that was available and the license fee was probably justified, but not any more!
