Turn it down
Why must the rest of us endure you're hip hop, rap and dance music... Or rock and pop for that matter? If you're on a train or bus and using a personal strereo, for goodness sake turn it down!
|
I find people who use a personal stereo on public transport, with it turned up loud extremely annoying. There's nothing worse than being forced to listen to someone else's taste in music.

| 08-5-2008 | Can only endorse the previous comments re asking the 'offender' to turn it down. Almost always get a positive response in the 'oh sorry' area. I do NOT blame the MP3 user. I blame all of the people sat around tut-tutting, pulling 'isn't that annoying?' faces and saying no...more | Al the Crusader |
| 02-2-2008 | the worst thing is when they play a low quality mp3 though their moblie phones loud speaker which sounds like a transistor radio in a bucket of water. and they think they are 'cool' for annoying everyone with their 'tunes' | daniel |
| 23-11-2007 | I find it very annoying especially in a confined space such as a bus or train. Even more so than someone doing untold damage to their ears with tinny earphones.
On numerous occasions I've had to politely ask the offender to "Turn it of please as it's very annoying" and never had...more | AndyB63 |
| 22-11-2007 | Little Feat did a song, "Boom Box Car". It lyricly states this sentiment:
"...wouldn't it be neater/
if I blew out your speakers/ with this 12 gauge across my knee..."

| 15-10-2007 | Overly loud music is indeed quite annoying; infuriating, even.
I'd have to say that those who find their voices extraordinarily appealing and have sudden urges to sing along with the music are prime candidates for ejection from said vehicle; especially when it's in motion. | Capital_G |
| 21-8-2007 | It really irritates me when I travel by bus and there is a young person(s) have their MP3 player complete with ear-phones, belting out whatever it is they are listening to, I don't have a problem with anyone's choice of music but why should everyone on the bus be subject to constant bass sou...more | Joy |
| 04-7-2007 | punk rock and classic rock is well better than eminem and 50 cent. them guys just go round saying they shot this guy and they have had that girl. what a load of rubbish they are all just little men who can rhyme a little | punk 77 |
| 09-2-2007 | I think dance music is a good source of fun. It makes people become lively and jump around. It doesn't matter if it's played loud or not, it's still all good. I especially love dance music by dj cammy. | Pete |
| 31-1-2007 | Most music is OK but the stuff by artist like 50 cent aught 2 be made illeagal!! That type of music is just noise and as no meaning. I like folk music bands like Show of Hands cos their music is a 3 min rant about rich city slickers buying up the countryside!! ;P | Zelda |
| 24-1-2007 | To be honest anyone playing any loud music is wrong. I would consider myself more of a rock fan than rap but I deal with it. I cannot play anything in my school gym without getting complained at by other students. I dislike people who complain about "that rap c**p and that emo s**t. Everyone ha...more | Patrick |
| 13-12-2006 | You Complain about all this Rap Rubbish being bad but whats a hundred times worse is all that metal and Punk Rock Crap that a lot on em listen to. I have to use the bus every wednesday afternoon | Lee Walker |
