Sky dish install by neighbour causes problems with my dish

Neighbour's Sky dish causing problems

Sky Dish problems

When I threatened to cancel they agreed to a free call out. The engineer came two days later and asked 'Who the **** had put up that dish?' He told my wife it was one of the worst installation jobs he had seen.

Sky was working fine for me until a few weeks ago when my neighbour decided to have a dish installed. Almost immediately I lost reception and Sky just couldn't understand that the problem was my neighbour's dish.

15-4-2009When I had my Sky installed it stopped working with a black screen and a Sky error message. The Sky call centre insisted it was a problem with my new HD tv. They are fools.tomocb
03-4-2009Tell your Neighbour to get rid of Sky TV. They charge you £49 for a box and some vouchers to spend in Marks and Spencers and you all think it is wonderful. Now read the small print 1. You get charged either £30 or £60 connection fee. 2. You pay £678 per year to watch HD...moreBifta

28-1-2009Some people haven't got a clue about The Gripe. It's one of the few places you can go and be a moaning sod without retribution (or it used to be). Besides, moaning here probably means not being such a miserable git in the real world, at least it works for me anyway.Flatcap
28-1-2009Nikker hater - no need to be so aggressive. I think Meldrew has a perfect right to compain. In any case, why would you log on to a site called The Weekly Gripe and then tell people off for moaning. You don't make sense.NickyB

12-1-2009Hey, Sky have some real lunatics working for them. Know where they came from? That totally inept corporate mess of a few years back, OnDigital. Total losers, jokers and incompetents. Probably quite a few moved on to Sky after that OnDigital debacle.Eagle 1
