Car heater not working, cylinder head gasket?
Incompetent garage couldn't fix my car

Garage couldn't find the problem

I feel this garage has tried to squeeze more and more money every week from me how do I officially complain about them and what are likely outcomes?



Around November/December time last year my car heater stopped working and as my father was a mechanic, I asked him to have a quick look to see if he could see what was wrong.

09-4-2008Read the paperwork supplied with your MoT certificate (possibly the back of the certificate itself) and you will find guidelines on how to complain officially. As Jonny said, speak to Trading Standards too... this garage may be known to them already.....Maclee
09-4-2008Talk to Trading Standards and get them to Investigate, there's a clause in the Customer Charter that prevents cowboys from doing this, if found Incompetent they can lose their trading licence.Jonny
