Mind your manners! Is it really that difficult to write a nice polite email with a reasonable standard of English? I usually wait until I received a number of emails before I decide who should get the item.



For those of you haven't heard of the Freecycle network, it's a collection of Yahoo Groups that aim to promote waste reduction by passing your unwanted stuff on to people that can use it.

12-3-2008Rule of thumb. Sad but true. Most people don't appreciate what they get for free. People are greedy. I gave a car to a 'friend' in need, it was worth perhaps £500 so we're not talking big bucks here. A few weeks later I drove past her place and there was a sign in the back...moreMikeP
