Taxi cab hell - your life in their hands

Taxi drivers take liberties

Taxi drivers take liberties

I know this doesn't apply to EVERY taxi driver out there, but in the town where I live I have become increasingly aware of it. Speeding, going the LONG way, talking on the phone etc.

Taxi drivers are quite useful sometimes because they get you to and from the pub and are a lot better than standing around in the rain waiting for a bus. However, in my opinion some of them tend to take liberties.

09-7-2008I think the original poster's comments are more directing at private hire cab drivers (mini-cabs) than so called black taxis. (No doubt it's only a matter of time before the PC pinko tossers ban that term). I use both, and have never found a black taxi driver anything other than courteous,...moreMikeP

04-11-2007Taxis and minicabs provide a great service, a service that we pay for. I use them regularly. However as a driver of an ambulance I see them take liberties that I most certainly would not even consider because of the risk to others whilst responding to an emergency. Given that, whilst other dr...moreMarco

26-10-2007Have you ever tried to report a taxi driver, OH what fun that is. first, the police say it's nothing to do with them, so you have to go through the council.
