Dress code in pubs and clubs
Whilst my attire is very smart with attention to detail, I'm still refused entry to the majority of bars and clubs here in Adelaide.

Here's my gripe about dress codes in bars and nightclubs. In the city where I live (Adelaide), I am restricted to just three bars where I can go out for a drink. I find it extremely annoying that I am refused entry to the other venues.

| 12-3-2008 | Adelaide bars and clubs aren't unique. These establishments have required a dress code for as long as I can remember and it's understandable I suppose. How anyone can think that it is okay to try to get into these places wearing say jeans or trainers is beyond me. I can't comment on ...more | Pat |
| 15-7-2007 | I'm going to give Adelaide a miss next time I'm over that way. Just seems like my Zapata meets Mexican outlaw scene won't go down too well their either, I thought everyone loved a sombrero, especially the sheila's.

Every pub / club has the right to have and enforce it's own dress code.
A pub is private property and if you are not willing to abide by the rules that are set in place then why the hell should they let you in?
