I am fed up with people who hurl abuse. I am overweight, so I walk into work in an attempt to loose some weight. On my way there I regularly have to suffer verbal abuse from kids going to school, thugs in vans and car drivers.

| 29-7-2008 | I wonder what kind of poison and bile must reside in the minds of these people that they feel the need to abuse complete strangers. Seriously, they are so lacking in intellect and social awareness that I really do almost feel sorry for them. I may be (slightly) overweight, but I am intelligent, hard...more | Lola |
| 11-5-2008 | I completely agree. I walk to university everyday and am not even that overweight (my BMI is 25.2) and people still feel the need to hurl abuse at me telling me I should diet. I have always struggled with my weight and have suffered from bulimia, which is just exacerbated by these cruel people's...more | Alice |
| 02-5-2008 | Hi Nick. Don't let them win, I'm a 6ft2 tall female, fat and broad shouldered. So when people aren't hurling abuse about my weight, they yell abuse about my height and when it's not that, i'm constantly asked if a man, or crossdresser, I have also had half eaten food and eggs thr...more | Tallgirl |
| 08-4-2008 | Hello Nick. Take no notice of these braindead idiots! Can I just say that these people are just out looking for people who they think look vunerable so they can shout abuse & make themselves feel better. I am a size 8 & every single time I go out I get shouted at, I get told I walk like i...more | ocean |
| 04-2-2008 | It's now ceased to amaze me that whenever the topic of weight discrimination comes up, people feel the need to post their genius ways of losing weight. Whether or not someone is actively trying to lose weight they deserve to be treated like every other human being: with common courtesy and respe...more | bananacannon |
| 25-10-2007 | I completely agree. as a 20 year-old woman who cycles to college to get fitter, the abuse I put up with is appauling.
Yes I might be red in the face and puffing by the time I get to the traffic lights, but then so is the person next to me becuase they have just come up the same hill! So why, may ...more | Mithnoviel |
| 12-10-2007 | One thing you're bound to find is that those often hurling the abuse have either miserable lives themselves, hence they need to interfere with everyone else’s, or they are just morons; brainless, ill-educated, never studied, never learned, never will, pointless wastes of air and food, moro...more | Bin the Chavs |
| 07-10-2007 | I think its disgusting that people can be so rude to someone on how they look, at the end of the day im sure those who comment on those overweight are not so perfect themselves. | Lulsy |

| 28-8-2007 | I completely understand. I am overweight also. I haven't always been, but in the past 5 years I began slowly "enlarging". I have been trying many different diets and such, with no big noticable effect. I have heard many times mean remarks about my weight as I walk into a store. Somet...more | Disgusted! |
| 27-8-2007 | I can sympathise with you, my son is very overweight for his age. We don't seem to be able to go anywhere without hurtful and rude comments made towards my son. He has problems within any group he joins and at school. We have changed schools for this reason, but it is always the same, he can'...more | offended mother |
