I've used the internet now for a number of years both at home and at work and have been waiting for the day when I can have an 'always on' high speed link at home at a relatively low cost.

14-2-2010 BT are just a disgrace. I lost my Broadband for 10 days, because they had no idea what the problem was. I was passed from pillar to post, to no avail. 07-2-2010 BT seem to have some very underhanded methods for dealing with problems. 06-2-2010 Flipper, the exchanges may be run by BT but most isp have their own equipment within the exchange, so if it is the equipment that is faulty a different isp will have different service, however if the line is faulty between the exchange and your house then you are relying on the isp getting Openreac...moreNick
