Motorcycle theft, even security doesn't stop them

Bike thieves are low life

Stealing motorcycles

Bike was secured with disc lock on rear wheel so we thought that it would be safe! What I saw was the back end of our lovely bike disappearing into a white transit van.

Bike thieves are low life and should be hung in public in my opinion! September last year our Suzuki gsx 600f was stolen from behind a locked steel gate. We were very fortunate to find the person who stole it.

04-2-2008I saved up for about 3 years and bought myself a Mk3 golf GTI, a car that I had always wanted. Installed lots of security devices. A group of teens, notorius for being skilled thieves, stole it one night and drove it a huge distance of 900 meters before torching it. Luckily, I had installed a cct...moreAll good things come to those who w
28-1-2008Kawasaki Z250 Stolen from North Avenue Bedworth, Warwickshire January 2007, it's red, very old, very noisy and not worth a lot but it was my only form of transport. Anyone know anything?Bike thieves are lowlife alright!
28-10-2007The thing is today's society should take a lot of blame since we should be able to park in our own street outside our own houses and our bikes should be safe FULL STOP! When I was a kid my parents never had to lock up our house let alone our vehicles! Thieves should have their bloody hands chopp...moresamkfm
09-10-2007Hey guys cut the crap. I have motorcross bikes and live in a nice place.I dont trust anyone. Put it in a garage and weld it to the floor and they will still rob you blind. BRING BACK HANGING!!!!BRING IT ON
11-8-2007If you could get the thief to court. You could argue this point. My bike gets me around to the grocery, hardware, toystores ETC., just like a horse does. My bike is my horse, therefore this is a horse thief, "Shoot him"!!!fm-usa
08-7-2007Well, my mate spent 6 years saving to buy a Suzuki bandit to have it stolen. Two guys turned up in a transit and lifted it into the back depite the bike having 3 different locks fitted. These rats make me retch! No arrest, no trial, just 1 in the head with a nail gun!Gentle Ben
30-6-2007Rent a lock up where nobody can steal your bike from. If you leave something on the street that can be pysically lifted by two people it is going to get stolen.Bob
22-6-2007Bike thieves should be shot on site or hung and drawn. You take every precaution and they still manage to steal your motorcycle. BTW, I had a Suzuki GSX 600F too and it was stolen by some low life thief. My sympathies to you!Roger
11-5-2007Actually, thieves of any sort are low life not just bike thieves. I know what it's like to have your bike stolen though. My Suzuki was nicked a few years ago and the insurance claim money didn't even touch the value of the bike. It never doesMatt
04-5-2007Here, here. We should make a national event of it - store them for a year let them sweat it out and maybe even tell them we're considering releasing them, then hang all on one day through the country. Car thievies would be the next lot as well.Hanging supporter
02-5-2007I agree with you that bike thieves are low-life. In fact I honestly think that all thieves are! The only way to stop that happening is to look at ourselves and scrutinise more carefully our own principles. Most people would willingly buy an i-pod for half price, or a cheap motorbike for that matter...moreFreddie
