Swipe cards and people who tailgate

Did you forget your swipe card?
I have become aware of this laziness and lead these people into a false sense of security so that they think I am leaving. However, suddenly I discover that I have a shoelace undone just as I get to the doors.

At my place of work we are required to use swipe cards for access to the buildings. However, I am fed up with lazy people who would rather follow me in than use their own cards.

Whilst not bothered should someone quite by chance follow behind me, I too don't like those who wait for me to make the first move and rely on others to do their work.

| 02-4-2007 | We have swipe cards also, it seems these "door hoverers" are a common beast in the workplace.
Usually they have left their card on their desk and cant get back in top the office after a trip to the coffe machine etc. To taunt the "cardless" on the other side of the glass door...more | Joss |

We have a similar system at work and have the same kind of people, lazy. They will wait by a door for me to get my card out, engaging me in minor chitchat trying to throw me. They won`t need anything from the stores unless I`m going, won`t want a cuppa unles...more | Stevek |
