Customer service first, I left Talk Talk for BT

Always put the customer first
Yes I am paying over the top (well more than Talk Talk), but, whenever I have rung BT with a problem I get through to an English speaking helpdesk. I get a good clear reply to my questions (some highly technical).

When I moved to Talk Talk they really were good. The line went over on the day promised and, although we had to wait 3 months the broadband went live on the day they said. All that changed when we were upgraded to LLU.

| 21-7-2008 | I have had the same problems that you were experiencing with talktalk with BT. Their customer support is now from India and we still cannot get online after several attemts. I myself use talktalk and they could not be more helpful or informed. My connection is always there and I do not have any prob...more | Mary |
| 17-7-2008 | I changed from BT to TalkTalk..............what a mistake. There have been nothing but muddles and mix-ups. I am sick of being put through to call centres in India when the people at the other end simply seem to pass you to other ineffective staff.
They have now cut me off because they couldn'...more | Patricia |
| 07-6-2008 | We changed to Talk Talk from BT for our land line and rental in June 2006. In January we changed to Tiscali Talk for rental, phone calls and broadband. Tiscali messed up by not taking over the land line at the same time as making broadband available. We started to receive bills from Tiscali and Ta...more | Sandra |
| 28-4-2008 | When I switched over to talk talk, I waited a good 2 months to get my internet connection. Once I did it kept on disconnecting randomly. I had assumed it was just because it was a new line. But it had nothing to do with that I kept on calling them in for "3 WEEKS" and they kept saying the ...more | Turkish |

| 26-12-2007 | I am very very disappointed that I am tied into an 18month contract with Talk Talk and I can't wait for this period to end so I can go with another provider. The day my modem was delivered I phoned and eventually got through to someone in customer services. I explained there was a loose connecti...more | Anonymous |
| 18-12-2007 | Guys, you get what you pay for. BT may not be cheap but you get plain simple decent broadband. And, after a year or so, they'll probably let you have pretty-much unlimited downloads in exchange for your loyalty. Talk-Talk is for tightwads who will almost sacrifice their children in the hope of g...more | soft southerner |
| 06-12-2007 | Was with AOL for few years before TalkTalk acquired the uk secion. I paid £17.99 per month for up to 1mb broadband. Never had problems so never needed call centre.
Thought to myself why pay the same company £17.99 per month when I can transfer to AOL Talktalk UK and get free Broadband. So ...more | sandgrownun |
| 25-11-2007 | "If I am charged by BT I may try claiming against Talktalk for the amount."
I will be and I e-mailed them last night to tell them so. They can also whistle in the wind for the cancellation fee. I have waited nearly 2 months for them to sort out the various problems on my phone - terribl...more | Chrisd |
| 24-11-2007 | TalkTalk should change to listenlisten, to the excuses if you do manage to get to customer services? and survive being on hold for minimum 15 minutes before they check you are still holding and put you on hold again. My modem arrived when thet said it would hoorah. I plugged it all in, no connection...more | Big Bob.. |

| 20-11-2007 | WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TALK TALK (TT), the company that do not want to TALK to you. I joined up with TT in July 2006 and am coming to the end of my 18 months contract (in about 3 months). It's the same old story, my landline was connected on time and I had to wait months for my br...more | Jas |
