Expensive Cars
I personally would love to have the option of whether to buy the Volvo, BMW or Lexus, instead I am forced to drive round in a Rover, itself a stalwart of the old persons automotive industry (even comes with faux walnut dash).

Have you noticed how all the nice cars end up with the drivers who are least able to fully appreciate them? For example old people who buy a brand new expensive car and then drive it around at 15 to 20 mph.

| 25-12-2007 | They drive at 15 to 20mph because in many areas that's about all you can bloody do these days, thanks to the anti-car campaigners.
The nicest cars often end up in the hands of people who don't appreciate them....caning them to death up motorways in excess of 100mph and screeching the tyres ...more | overfiftys |

| 02-8-2007 | Most speedo's underread by about 3-4 mph. You can tell your real speed by a GPS speedo. So that means that someone going 50mph on a 60 is most likely 14 mph under the speed limit.
That is 23% below the speed limit. That is quite a large. | Robetere |

| 13-5-2007 | Meh, its mostly old people because they have made the right decisions in life - and can now afford the insurance that was out of reach in their youth!
Each to their own - I don't care what other people drive. | Beanie |

| 18-1-2007 | If a person has worked hard enough to be able to afford a nice car then they have earned the right to do whatever they want with that car. If you do not have enough money to drive a nice car then that's your problem and intead of whining about it why not go and get a decent, well paying job and ...more | Jess |
| 09-1-2007 | I do detect a small hint of jelousy here. People who are shall we say 'of a certain age' having gone through life with all its trials and tribulations deserve to have a little luxury when they can afford to. Not as the society now thinks it is in the 'I want and I want it now' age.
