Parking ticket machines don't give change

Ticket machines that don't give change

No change

There must be some kind of law against Councils and Train companies that operate these kinds of ticket machines. It's like going in to a supermarket, your bill comes to £67 you give them £70 and they keep the change.

My gripe is about council car parks. I am fed up with these ticket machines that don't give change. Do the people that operate these machines think that we wander around all day with pockets full of coins or something?

23-3-2007I support the OP's gripe. It's flipping annoying paying 50p for a 40p ticket or 90p for a £1 ticket. Also someone mentioned that these )*(*)(8£$£"$ machines don't take 1p & 2p's, of which I always have loads. They should have to give change.candyapple
