Don't get a TV licence, get mad instead

BBC not worth the cost of a TV Licence

Scrap the TV Licence

It's now passed its sell by date and I think most of us would agree that it is surely time to get rid of the TV licence. Is the BBC worth the cost of the licence? Join in the debate and tell us what you think!

There used to be a time in the UK when a small handfull of TV channels were all that was available and the license fee was probably justified, but not any more!

14-5-2008the rest of the western world mainly uses taxation revenue to fund national TV - at least that way the cost is shared according to income levels. in UK a billionaire pays the same as a pauper. How fair is that!Nicci M

03-3-2008I certainly don't want the BBC to become commercial, and it would be a shame if it became a subscription service. I pay my licence and have no qualms about it - there are real injustices being carried out in the world, forgive me if I don't get too upset over the TV Licence.Elanon
