Talk Talk Problems
After five months of phone calls and e-mails, I have still not had a sensible and productive conversation with anyone at Talk Talk. I'm still experiencing the same problems and no one seems to be able to help!

Here is yet another Talk Talk gripe for you. I don’t think for a minute that we are the only ones who are seriously disappointed with their poor customer service or have had trouble getting through to them in the first place.

| 02-9-2010 | Oh dear! What a mess! I have tried and tried to be polite with the unfortunate souls who are working for this so called "service provider". What service are they providing? From the outset I was promised remote call answering - very important to me as I am often away from my landline and early response to my clients is vital. Imagine my horror when a neighbour contacted me whilst I was away working to explain that the police were at my door wishing access. It transpired that another client, always used to prompt response to their telephone messages, had become very concerned for my welfare. They had left a number of messages for me and received no return calls.Fearing I was dead - and concerned as to who would cook for their shooting party - they sent the police round. Numerous promises to solve the problem have resulted in "status quo". They will ensure I have call minder (not done), reduce my payments (not done), last time I spoke with them they threatened to charge me for cancelling. I have just gone onto their website following a complaints link and found no direct access to a formal complaints process. TALK TALK - you are simply that........full of TALK TALK but ABSOLUTELY NO ACTION NOR ANY VALUE! | Toots |
| 02-9-2010 | This has got to be one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with! Customer services are awful and very difficult to understand. After 2 weeks and 6 different contacts I am now awaiting a final decision again! as to the outcome of a call out charge of £140+ for a faulty box which belongs to BT/Talk Talk. Looks like back to BT for me as well! | Wayne |
| 02-9-2010 | OH GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, yet another bill from Talk Talk! I cancelled this contract back in March due to their misguiding broadband offer, incompetence, hopeless staff, yadda yadda, yadda, I can't even go into detail, because this company is making me ill :-( | KAREN |
| 01-9-2010 | Fifteen years ago when I cancelled my contract with AOL I thought that was hard enough( 45 mins on the phone with them trying to persuade me to stay) is nothing compared to the stress, grief, incompetance, total lack in understanding of the English language I have received from Talk Talk. I am now in my 4th month of constant letters for a contract that was cancelled in May, final bill paid in June, and a letter telling me my account had been cancelled successfully. I did phone them in August after receiving demands for payment for a connection I don't have and spent 24 mins on the phone, passed through to 5 different departments with each of them telling me a different story. Today another demand for a larger amount of money, my reply, returned the letter with 5 bullet points listing their incompetance (on the back of the letter) and the final one read If you continue with the harrassment I will seek legal advice and take out civil action against the company as a whole. Talk Talk=Tacky Abhorrent Laborious Kleptomaniacs. | Cat. |

| 01-9-2010 | I would be careful with that s.norton. I just cancelled my direct debit with them 5 years ago when I was with talktalk and they wouldnt let me leave. they ended up filing a default notice against me ruining my credit record! now I am unfortunately back with those idiots since they took over tiscali... this time I contacted consumer direct, ofcom and otelo. I am done messing about and wil get the big guns out :) | screw talktalk |

| 31-8-2010 | Seems I got a rare treat and spoke to two people who were UK based whilst trying to settle a bill.Due to the first guys rude and abrupt nature I asked to speak to a supervisor to which he refused to let me do and then hung up.Luckily for me the second time I called the guy was as friendly as the first.I have never known anyone to be as hostile whilst youre trying to give them money | paulf |
| 31-8-2010 | I have been tring to change from Virgin to Talk Talk for about the last 4 months. They have missed 2 appointments, 5 hours wait each time. I have phoned them, emailed them three times to someone who emailed me first offering me a better deal and I this have had no reply. Would it be of any use complaining to the chairman or is it just a bad company from top to bottom. | kevjen |
| 31-8-2010 | I've never received such poor service--their error and still they can't fix anything or even decently apologise. Or for that matter actually get back to me with an update. The irony is that like many people I did not choose talktalk, I was shifted to them from Tiscali (who were ok-ish) from Homechoice (who were great). I feel I had no choice in the matter, the transfer of service from Homechoice to Tiscali was a nightmare with a three week interruption, the service from Tiscali was more expensive for the same package and the service from TalkTalk has been just awful. I'm thinking of officially complaining to OfCom. | CatherineF |
| 31-8-2010 | I think its time to look into the customer service department as they seed not to know what they are doing and most of the have the habit of misjugding the customers, they talk too fast and their tones God it has to change | un valued customer |
