Recycling to save the human race

We need to recycle
The greedy selfish human race, that’s my gripe. What gives us the right to destroy our planet and think that it is ours to do with as we wish.
|
We’re living in the crazy times with wildlife habitat destruction, deforestation, over fishing and the mindless killing of intelligent creatures like whales etc. Recycling would be a start, but we need to do more than that.

| 28-5-2008 | Edwin,
Don't get too excited about this word "overpopulation".
This thing called overpopulation is only a recent concept introduced by an English philosopher and I don't remember his name now. But this guy invented this notion and he used statistics too. Later the Nazis used this...more | SuperBambinoCattivo |
| 28-5-2008 | These are scary times indeed! The greater power, God or Mother Nature or whatever one wishes to call it, will eventually take care of over population with more disasters, plagues and famine (or we just may run out of clean air and water first). In the meantime, people and government should take wha...more | just my opinion |
| 03-2-2008 | The only - and I mean the ONLY - issue here is the one no-one ever mentions: overpopulation - which leads to over-consumption. The population of the world has doubled in the last 40 years and will double again, and again, and again. THAT is the problem. Not recycling by yummy mummys or carbon footpr...more | Edwin |
| 19-11-2007 | I like the idea that someday somehow humanity will be revolutionised to be more compatable with the planet we live on. Though it'll probably be after a very hard learned lesson. | jk12 |
| 17-11-2007 | Hey, I checked out your web site but I couldn't find any pictures of the cockroaches you killed last week with poison. Are some forms of life more equal than others, perhaps?

| 27-10-2007 | Little Green Men, our modern day bushmen, are they New Ageists or are they simply just into the prevention of Old Age? Vegetarian sheep lovers, they are the New Age Frauds and Plastic Shamans with spastic bladders. Nowadays around here, you simply can't swing a dead cat without hitting a tree-hu...more | I hate Greens |
| 26-10-2007 | I think recycling is very important to us, and our Earth. If we do not continue recycling, we could all die someday. | Nicole |
| 18-6-2007 | Standpoint - haven't heard of them, but yes I agree renewable energy from these sources can be extremely viable. Just look at what is happening on some of the Scottish Isles. Personally I think that a combination local power sources and the grid are the answer. The government should do more t...more | Sooty |
| 17-6-2007 | Has anyone ever heard of tidal power electric. There is a way to banish foot prints by using the sea for electricity and using rain water more effectivly. Solar heated water will help here as well. | standpoint. |
| 27-5-2007 | It's sad we only think for ourselves and some people who commented earlier- saying -what's in it for me...better quality air-less disease, a new approach -hopefully begatting a new attitude.
Some people's comments just go to show you what an ignorant, mis-informed, misguided, sad world ...more | peace keeping middle class tree-hug |
| 31-12-2006 | KenB well done you,ve hit the nail on the head. The problems with going green are ;
A) No Financial incentive
b) Makes life harder not more convienent
c) makes Gordon brown richer - backdoor taxes
d)its not nice coming from scaracity- using things in abundance is much nicer.
