Mobile phone operators harassing me

Fed up with free mobile offers?
Why do the big mobile phone operators have to resort to these tactics to gain or keep customers. Could it be because their tariffs are to expensive in the first place and they need a sweetner?

I'm fed up with mobile phone operators cold calling and harassing me. The T-Mobile call centre in India is the worst offender. Their constant calls and offers of a free mobile are extremely irritating.

Initially just annoying, now it is a hassle.
T-Mobile will do nothing. They say speak to the police. The police say speak to t-mobile.

| 15-4-2008 | T-mobile, along with other UK operators, have long since stopped making direct marketing calls. This wasn't because of any moral or altuistic desire, but because they were doing more damage than good. If someone gets their evening disturbed by a call from a mobile operator they are more likely t...more | phen |

| 04-2-2008 | There's a simple way to deal with these unwanted calls. Don't be rude to the person on the other end of the line. Take a deep breath and blow as hard as you can into a whistle.
This will, sort out the problem with unwanted calls. | Mikey G |

| 11-1-2008 | Yes, these calls are very annoying. I just had one on my mobile (which for the record is with T-Mobile) about 20mins ago. I Googled the number and found this. It could also be a coincidence that the minimum term of my contract with them has just finished. Make your own mind up.

| 07-10-2007 | Have some fun with these cold-calling parasites, and do what I've done. Have a pile of saucepans, oven trays and other utensils on a table or worktop within easy reach of the phone.
