Chat rooms and singles dating sites seem to be inhabited by a fair number of freaks and that’s my gripe! Recently I’ve found myself a lovely lady, so I’ve decided to sign myself out of the Internet chat rooms and dating sites.

| 23-10-2009 | I would just like to say that I thought I had met a very nice young man. We had a wonderful instant message converstion and shorty after talked on the telephone. Then all of a sudden he stopped calling. When I tried to talk to him online he only seemed busy like he was chatting with someone else. Well he was. I started reading comments other ladies were leaving on his profile and they were sexual in nature. I guess he was talking dirty to them too. All his friends, he seems to add are freaky looking and bi-sexual woman. Still hating that I met an A-hole and I hope he gets what he deserves! | Cara |
| 09-8-2009 | I've observed a friend of mine as she has gone through a succession of internet dates. She is an attractive and successful girl in her late 30's with a lively personality and an interesting background. I suspect that her relative success, independence, and the fact that she has opinions of her own have put off a lot of men since they seem to prefer doormats.
Her 'dates' have all fallen into one or more of the following categories :
Socially crippled
Blatantly sexually frustrated and only wanting sex
Mummy's boys
Braggarts
Self obsessed
Losers
The best (I am being sarcastic) was the guy who when she asked him to tell her about himself said : "I drive a BMW".
That said, many of the men she's met in real life have not been much better which is why, at 40, she prefers to remain single. | MikeP |
| 09-8-2009 | I've had loads of dates through internet dating and have experienced the best and the worst that it can throw at you. I've also had three flings as a result, of which I'm grateful (although frustrated that none of them worked out). It can be very demoralising as it makes you realise just how shallow and superficial a lot of people are. Some people these days won't even acknowledge your existence unless you fit into their concept of an ideal man exactly.
I'm determined to find myself a partner, but if internet dating is the best I can hope for then it's going to be a long, hard slog to the finish line. | Michael |

| 07-5-2009 | All I can say is watch out for the ones that are married. My husband has been on just about everyone of these sites. I told him to get his sorry backside out because he's a loser. He pretends he is single but he's in heaps of debt; gambles etc. I don't know what he's trying to prove. Thank goodness I found out - he kept telling me how much he loves me; kept things sweet while cheating. Well he can't have his cake and eat it. To the slappers out there that he's been with either in person and online - good luck to you some of the names of these sl.ts are: Lia, Delilah and Claire. | 27-4-2009 | There are good and bad sites, Match.com has worked for me as I am in a great relationship but we would have never met as both self employed and work extremely hard. However I was a member of some "lets get it on" sites and found that the women were on there either to have their egos massaged by pervs, couldn't travel or accomodate and in the worst cases weren't even real people but scammers just interested in getting card details off you. | 09-1-2009 | Hey one of these weirdos is probably my husband. He's always visiting chat rooms or sex sites site - he's an ugly bugg.. so watch out. Hardly brushes his teeth, I have to tell him to change his pants, can't handle money, has debts and is bald. If he tells you he works in I.T. then that's true but ask him for a photo. He's ugly through and through. He's just lost me a lovely woman!
I can't bear being next to him - I've tried training him in health and hygiene but he is a lost cause. Hmm he also smells like a stale ashtray - stale ciggy smoke a real turn off. Yuck! and double Yuck!
