| 09-5-2007 | As a 're-tread' returning to bike riding after a 30 year hiatus I have experience in this. To be "more responsible" I gave up bikes when my son was born...as if riding a bike was adolescent behavior.
1. Such sacrifice really doesn't benefit the child and will not be signific...more | ken |
| 01-3-2007 | I am a parent of 5 children myself and I fully agree with your gripes. Why should you give up your hobbies and passions just because you're having a baby. It's mad. Too many parents have become just parents and nothing else. How BORING! For you, and more so for your children. They want to se...more | bikerbod |

| 06-1-2007 | It may have had something to do with wanting the cash to spend on the child - quite the right thing to do in this case. | Bike rider (motorbike) |
| 06-11-2006 | Blunt, I had a bad bike crash many years ago, resulting in my knee having to be sewn together, and my daughter's godfather has had pins in his leg and in his shoulder.
I do appreciate what you're saying, but I don't want to live my life thinking "this may happen". I find I&...more | Morgaine |

| 17-7-2006 | Well I'm female and married with a 7 year old daughter, a Supra and a ZXR400.
Love my daughter, love my car, love my bike. Where's the problem?
You either can or can't afford to have kids - unless you drive a Ferrari getting rid of your ride is going to make very little difference, kid...more | Morgaine |
| 08-7-2006 | Personally I am of the opinion that motorbikes are the loudest things in existence today... an absolute menace...and they stink of petrol...best place for them- in the shed!! | Bike-hater |
| 08-7-2006 | I must say I was astounded by the cynical attitude of divorced biker.Has he no respect for the human condition?Obviously his nickname describes him pretty accurately. And I think motorcycles - to give them their full and proper title - are a menace that should be banned anyway. | mature citizen |
| 07-7-2006 | Why not sell the baby and buy a bigger bike. they make less noise, do not stink as much and can be left in the shed when it is raining. | divorced.biker |
| 26-5-2006 | Oh good grief! Is this what passes for adults these days? Grow up all of you!! | Real adult |
