Young thugs from council estate on quad bikes

Quad Bikes are annoying
They ride on footpaths, over private drives, people’s lawns and pretty much wherever they like. The police have been called on so many occasions by a number of people, but nothing is ever actually done to stop this crazy behaviour!

After years of saving and thousands of pounds of borrowing I have bought my first house. I work hard, pay my taxes and abide by the laws of the land.

| 21-3-2008 | Near where you live there is a council estate. Are the people riding these bikes from this estate? Or did you just mention it to set the scene of unruly kids from run down estates terrorising an innocent rural area. The reality is that crime rates are increasing, the purportraitors getting younger n...more | Bob |
| 18-2-2008 | I mentioned in a previous posting that as people were becoming frustrated with the rising crime figures, the vigilantes would appear.Well, in my little village they did, and I may add they cleared all of the brain dead off the street in 10 days, there were no weapons used, apart from phone cams and ...more | Handyman |
| 29-12-2007 | I think the problem is that Britain (like the USA) is more concerned with rights than law & order. In the old days those thugs would've been knocked off their bikes, clobbered, and had the bikes smashed up. | Mr. Watchowtsky |
| 11-12-2007 | ... And have you heard the latest on the government's "tough on crime" policy - yes I say "policy" because as usual there is no "execution" behind the paper work - the sentence should be based on space available in the prison - not based on the crime committed. S...more | TaffyQuad |
| 09-12-2007 | Wether we agree with capital punishment or not, something has got to be done, adeterrant has got to be found to stop our country slipping further into a state of anarchy,as we are already on a downward spiral. Our mamby pamby politicians are a waste of time as we are now govened by Brussels. As crime co...more | Handyman |
| 22-10-2007 | Tramp, it's not a Police Force anymore, it stopped being a Force many years ago.
There's no deterrent in this country. Fire should be met with fire. We need someone like George Bush in power. When he was Governor of Texas, he signed over 180 death warrants, he doesn't mess about. ...more | Trev |

| 29-6-2007 | Yes, David, re - 'doing something about it'. I wouldn't want to be in a political party though. How about vigilante groups visiting each others area and sorting out a few of them? How about heating up the factories that profit from this? Only joking, of course...but the little thugs and ...more | enough |

Have you ever been in a cell? Trust me its anything but 'cosy'... | niby |
| 27-4-2007 | But that's the point isn't it? National Service is not supposed to be a walk in the park. Of course the thugs would hate it - but it may actually teach them some respect and decency. Why should they be allowed to do what they like, knowing they can get away with it? I agree with capital puni...more | Jo |
| 27-4-2007 | I don't agree with national service.. I mean, as someone who finds physical exercise (Specifically running/jogging) a hard, painful, and embarrassing experience, I would hate to go into service. Then again, I've never done anything wrong. Perhaps some kind of three strike system could be imp...more | Frstsg |
