I need a holiday!
Sometimes when I poke my head above the duvet in the morning, I just don't want to get up and go to work. Do you agree that we don't get enough holiday here in the UK? Does your boss work you too hard and not give you enough time off?

I think that the statutory right to four weeks paid holiday annually is actually pretty pathetic and when you consider that the most you can expect from mean employers in this country is two or three extra days on top of that.

| 04-4-2007 | Al you've so lost the plot there. Work to live, not work to live. It's very important for the quality of life otherwise you forget what you are working for. So your dad worked through the holidays and most weekends? Clearly a good role model in spending plenty of quality time with you. ...more | Work to live |
| 04-4-2007 | What is wrong with our country, going back to the days when my dad was at work, and that is what it was in those days; work. | 09-3-2007 | Where are the Trade Unions? Everyone should get a statutory 25 working days a years + public holidays. 35 hour week maximum, compulsory inflation proofed pay rises. Fully paid overtime.
The government policy should be one of full employment. | Rights of the worker |
