The term 'Advertiser' means the party booking the space and is responsible for payment.
The term 'Publisher' means The Weekly Gripe.
1. By placing an advert the Advertiser is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Advertisements must conform to the British Code of Advertising Practice and must accurately reflect the product and or service being advertised.
3. All advertisements are accepted subject to the Publisher’s approval of the copy and the space being available. The Publisher reserves the right to refuse, withdraw or cancel advertisements submitted.
4. The Publisher reserves the right to determine the most suitable placement for the advert.
5. Any and all links to external websites included in paid advertisements will include an rel=”nofollow” attribute in compliance with Google’s recommendations.
6. By ordering an advertisement, the Advertiser is confirming that they either own the copyright in any text or image provided, or have received written agreement from the copyright owner to use the text or image for commercial use on a website.
7. The publication of an advertisement by the Publisher does not constitute endorsement of the Advertiser, its products or services.
8. The Publisher reserves the right to increase advertisement rates at any time or to amend the terms and conditions at any time. Any increase in rates would only affect subsequent bookings.
9. Cancellation: The Advertiser may cancel an advertisement before the advertisement has completed its term, but shall not be entitled to a refund for the time not used.
