Horse manure dumped on the path outside my house

In view of the recent suggestion that I should have a point on my licence for dropping litter from my car window, which I agree is anti social and something that I would never condone, why is it that a blind eye is turned to the mountains of horse manure that is dropped (usually outside my drive) every day on our roads?

We are expected to slow down, give a wide berth and generally give way to these creatures and there riders, which strangely enough are usually always women (what is it with women and horses?). If we do not (and I usually do by the way), you can fully expect to incur the wrath of the rider and the horse because they both give you a filthy look for not perceiving that they were around the next blind bend in the road.

Anyway, I've carefully made my way home only to find right outside my drive is yet another pile of horse manure which I will have to move before someone walks it onto the hall carpet - this of course would obviously be my fault!

Horse manure on the road I have suggested to one or two of these riders that they should perhaps carry a shovel and a bag to collect the horse manure and take it back to the stables with them. But this is a apparently too daft an idea to contemplate because once out of the saddle they cant get back on without assistance, and besides they are not charging me for the manure so I really should be grateful.

Still, I suppose they don't have many horses in Downing street nowadays, so they're unlikely to really appreciate a horse manure problem are they?  Would anyone care to buy some some horse manure?  I've got plenty here and will probably receive yet another load tomorrow!

"Thanx" ... with an "x" at the end of it ... is a term of endearment, you sad little creature who has to post under different names because he hasn't got the bollocks (testicles) to use his real name!

What little bit I do know about the German language is that their "words" (or what we might describe as phrases) are very long ... so the clue is in the length of your word "arschlok" - because (despite the fact I did not study German at school) ... I can deduce that "arschlok" could not possibly translate as "shut up, you sad old Hag".

I can make such a deduction because I am an intelligent human being.

And, of course, my friend MikeP has told us that "Arschloch" means "Arsehole" ... the clue to the description of what YOU are, is there in black and white.

"Oh and BTW Thanks has a "KS" in it, arschlok.
I doubt you can understand German, so i'd better translate.........it means "shut up, you sad old Hag "
Bored with and sick of Nikkkki "

It's 'arschloch', you've spelt it wrong, and it means '@arsehole', so don't try to be smart when you clearly are not.

I doubt you can understand French, so I had better translate ... it means "pen names".

There is an apostrophe in "shes" btw ... and also in "dont".

Thanx for your support MikeP!

"Also bored of Nikki" "Bored of Nikki"

It's bored 'with', not 'of', you illiterate ignoramuses.

Whatever you may think of Nikki's comments, at least she can express them in proper English and remain courteous.

O dear, is that the best you can do - what a very sad, stupid little person you are.

The normal thing to do when someone has proved you to be ignorant and in the wrong is to apologise. Clearly you are not a "big" enough person to do that.

No it does not! Because usually when you are riding on the road, you are actually going somewhere off road - to gallop, canter or jump. So - what are you supposed to do with the bag when you reach your off road area, clever clogs??

You aren't supposed to canter, gallop or jump on the road, so the bag idea still stands.

These "bags", Maikel, are not suitable for riding horses, only carriage horses. You could not canter and gallop with these devices, nor could you go over jumps.

to be honest, there are bags that fit under the tail of a horse, to catch this poo.. its just these people cant be bothered by poo unless its infront of their own door...

i live in a city center, lots of chavs come back from pubbing, start their cars, turn the music WAYY up, and wait 15 minutes for friends... at one time i was so sick of this that i followed one of these guys home, and put my stereo on full (i must admit i have a pretty nice soundsystem myself, however i usually dont have it on untill i get out of residential area's)

well after 5 minutes the guy came out asking me what the hell i was doing.. i told him it looked like he had fun in front of my house, and that i wanted to try it myself..

so perhaps bag the poop, follow the rider home, pave their driveway, so they can see how iritating it can be if you have to live where they leave their droppings (they are the riders, so its their responsibility/droppings in my honest opinion).

either that, or wait for the politicians to make those poopbags mandatory.. but then you can wait another 20 years...

Good heavens, it's only horse manure. If it rains, it washes most of it away, unlike dog poo. Grow up.

I have just had horse manure dumped all outside my gates, which I have had to clear. I tackled the 3 women horse riders and all I got was a load of abuse from a young woman. If the horse deposits outside a gatye -m the rider should have to clear it up. I have a dog and take her out every day and clear up after her.

What would any of you think if your neighbor who has an acre with no one living on the other side, weekly dumped a load of fresh manure next to your fence. My pool is 20-30 ft downwind of this. Also they have cats so vermin come under fence this way and I have 3 children who
run from this. Not to mention the smell and flies. My house is approx 150' away and on some days it smells like horrid poop. And no they can say its compost but it never moves, gets turned or treated in any manner. And still that could be put on other side of property. NEED OPINIONS Want to get town here but then barn they get it from is also not taxed and has apts and this would really blow up. Asking nice is appearing to go over their heads.

Quite!! I remember those days very well indeed. Everything is so aseptic these days, everything has to be dettoxed and sterilised and cleansed within an inch of its life - which is probably one of the main reasons why allergies are rife and disorders like asthma!
