Do you care about swine flu?  I sure don't! I'm not planning on travelling to Mexico, my immune system is pretty top notch because I don't use these 'kills all bacteria' cleaners in my home, and I still will quite happily eat pork and be near pigs.

I saw someone in Boots the other day buying a face mask, telling the cashier that she was travelling to Spain.  Is it me, or are people just getting a bit paranoid around here?

Swine flu just does not scare me in the slightest...

Swine flu just does not scare me in the slightest, and it shouldn't scare you either.  If everyone stopped worrying about their kids getting a bit mucky, and stopped using these 'kills 99.99% of bacteria because the cold virus is deadly' style soaps and cleansers, we'd all have much better immune systems.

Swine Flu just a scare?

Bird flu sort of fizzled out without any major consequences, we haven't had a terrorist attack for a while, and people just don't seem to care about obesity.  So let's all be scared by swine flu!  Bear in mind that in many cases it's about as deadly as regular flu, but we don't pay too much attention to that because it's not associated with an animal.

People need to grow up and stop pushing the panic button when it comes to infectious diseases.  I had a landlord who wouldn't let me have a snake because his wife reckoned her kids would get salmonella from being in the same building.  Absolutely ridiculous!

I really wish people would just shut up and get on with it.  Does anyone even remember Asiatic Flu anymore?  Hell, even MRSA doesn't get the headlines and media attention it used to.  Of course we also have C.Diff now.  These pandemics and epidemics all blow over eventually.  Show me something like Smallpox, and I'll start caring.

Well I wouldn't be so worried about it either.. if the people in the street knew how to cover their mouths when they coughed or sneezed! Or just stayed at home when they were sick???
I rest my case.

It seems that there is nothing new about the swine flu. Go to youtube and tap in "1976 swine flu propaganda".

During the swine flu epidemic I thought that I would phone up to make an appointment to see the asthma nurse for my regular six month check up, to avoid getting into contact with sneezy people. I can't get through, they've been engaged all morning. Now I'm going to have to risk comming into contact with someone with the flu and get sick! why can't they have an answer machine and call you back...?

I have just seen the news and it appears the government helplines have been overwhelmed. The government says it is "surprised" by the level of concern.WAKE UP!!! people,swine-flu is nothing more than a High Level masonic inspired money-making conspiracy. If you Have the sniffles or are feeling run down with flu-type symptoms there is a 99.999% statistical probability it is a bog standard cold or flu virus

The reason people are panicking over the swine flu is because the capitalist pigs at the top of the pyramid stand to make billions from selling tamiflu and the vaccine.Novavax have already produced 600 million vaccines to be sold at twenty dollars each,They are working around the clock to produce even more. Now the same capitalist criminals who are running the swine-flu scam also own and control all of the newspapers and it is these same newspapers that are fuelling the masses panic.Go to youtube and tap in "swine-flu conspiracy"

It's here.. My friend's sister has it now and she only saw her yesterday. Reckon we'll have it by the end of the week. It's no longer a case of if you will get Swine Flu, it's a case of WHEN you will get Swine Flu

Tried to ring up NHS Direct the other night regarding what was either an allergic reaction or a chemical burn from a very expired can of deep heat. Even after pressing '2' for 'no, this isn't swine flu related', it still took me a good half hour to get through. Because of people panicking about the swine flu, and trying to get Tamiflu without seeing their GP

Mr. Hicks - Your approach sounds sensible to me.

Don't get me started on Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton. When are people going to realise that that these two politicians take major responsibility for creating the Credit Crunch? For politically correct purposes, their formidable organisation forced U.S. banks to make mortgage loans to people who were hopeless credit risks. When these people were unable to pay off their loans, the resulting financial crash was inevitable. The bankers got all the blame, while Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton were nowhere to be seen. But all of us have been paying the penalty for their misguided policies ever since.
