I am sickened by people living decadent lifestyles whether they are actually rich or just rich wannabes.  They have four car garages, a couple of big screen televisions, commercial grade fridge in the house, several ATVs, several types of boats, wine racks, multi shower heads, towel warmers.  They need more cars because the ones they have aren't enough, so they buy a new Hummer or a new Lexus that parks for you.

They have a large house with a swimming pool in the garden and a vacation home to get away from it all.  They will need to do this regularly so they will take a vacation every year, every six months or even more frequently!  They eat pizzas that sell at a New York eatery for $1000 (let's just ignore the starving people on the streets).

The kids are enrolled into every conceivable kind of lesson or club.  The wife will have diamonds for Valentine day - whether she's loved or not and who knows what the mistress gets.  The cars have a separate DVD screen for everyone in the backseat(s).  They like to dress to impress so purses that cost $100's or $1000"s are mandatory; of course suits have to be of the same caliber and will cost just as much if not more.

Feed that homeless person you have just walked past

A glass of champagne - rich, but poor in spirit

I have an idea you gluttonous selfish people...  Feed that homeless person you have just walked past.  Help that single mother who hasn't got much of a life because she is struggling to make ends meet.  Teach your children to be wise with assets and money and don't teach them to crave excess.  To all you who are rich in material things but poor in spirit - help an elderly person, or better still just help other people instead of helping yourselves.

Giving spare change to a beggar is a good deed but what you have to remember is it encourages them. A minority of these homeless people are not actually homeless... I wholeheartedly agree, the people with backseat DVD players and personalized numberplates seriously need to spend their money on more important things: mortgage, pension, health insurance or a holiday. They could even try being altruistic and spend x amount of cash on their family or give x amount of cash to a charity of their choice (if they weren't so bloody pig-ignorant of course!).

This gripe sounds like jealousy to me. Im not rich but I don't begrudge how how those who are, choose to spend their money.

Well I think that people should really feed the poor and rich people shouldn't show off in front of poor people. I mean I'm rich but know one really knows cuz' I don't show off ! But the poor people who ruin their life by drinking and doing drugs we shouldn't give to them! : )

If all the land in Britain was shared out equally, there would be enough to give every man, woman and child seven acres each.

Spend "his" or "her" money in the way that they would like? Nearly all their so-called money has been stolen from the workers, by hook and by crook. Rich people are not just poor in spirit; they are rich because they cheat. They cheat you and me and everyone they can. With big smiles of course.

All large firms must be made fully and totally democratic. There is no room for the rich scrooge in today's society.

Capitalism must clean up its act or die

I totally agree that a person be allowed to spend his or her money as they wish.Regardless wether they be millionaires or not. However, its fairly obvious, having read some of the comments made by millionaires that one thing they lack is respect for others. This is endorsed by the foul language they use, which, in itself is a sign of both arrogance and ignorance. This could make one wonder if they really are millionaires or just mere fantasists.I am inclined to believe the latter. In my job,as a mortuary attendant,I see all types, wether they be millionaires or paupers they are all prepared the same way for the final journey, where money makes no difference..

.....and with a bit of luck they will bury all of you with your "hard-earned" plasma screens, chelsea tractors, Armani underpants (wrapped round your head?) with one of your beloved pizza's cooking away in the oven at the same time as you. Because that's the only way you are going to take ANY of it with you.

My occupation regularly brings me into contact with wealthy people and, as a section of society, the vast majority are a waste of space, whining and moaning about your pathetic sorry little lives. So please next time one of you rich people has a problem, don't tell me, I con't care less, because, in-spite of being rich in bank balance, you are worthless as human beings, a blight on the earth's crust. Your few quid doesn't mean diddly - it really doesn't!

You spend it though, all of it, or as much as you like, however you like, the quicker the better, it might take you far away from the rest of us, tired of putting up with your stupidity. I don't give a rat's @rse how you spend your dosh, go on blow it by the truck load on anything your stupid little minds can think of. But please next time one of you ungrateful morons has a problem, see if you can fix it yourself without you or your screeching mistress taking it out on the rest of the planet! Your money entitles you to spend it, not to give everyone round you a bad day! Maybe get a life?

They've made their money, why the hell shouldn't they enjoy it. A lot us "normal" people have enough money to afford treats for ourselves, should we not do this? Should we only keep enough money to feed ourselves on the bare minimum and buy the cheapest car possible etc. and then give all the rest of our money away to the poor? Jealousy is what I think this debate is about.
