Oh no not another Talk Talk gripe - Oh yes it is! After 4 months of trying to chase up my modem,(free broadband is the bit that entices you to them).  I was told that actually it had not been ordered for me.

Well this was bad enough, but add on the dozens of calls to talk talk that either:-

a) Never got passed the automated answer voice saying that "all operators are busy right now - please try again later."

b) Got through to Delhi and they had no idea how to take my complaint to the next level

c) Getting cut off half way through a conversation that probably would have got no where anyway!

By dozens of calls, I sincerely mean dozens.  Today I got through and decided enough was enough.  I left my ISP and BT to save money, but I will welcome them back with open arms, they did nothing wrong really, I just tried to save a few quid that’s all.

In conclusion, Talk Talk provide the worst customer experience I have ever received and I’m sure that if I find the tonic that will give me infinite life it will not be beaten.  I will cancel my direct debit in the morning and will stand in court to defend myself rather than pay for a service I had no chance of ever getting.

If Talk Talk were to advertise based on how they actually perform, taking away all the spin and lies it would read “Talk Talk - probably the worst customer service in the world!”

Thank you - I feel far better.

Beware do not give Talktalk your telephone number or as they tell me it is logged onto a web site and you will get many many phone calls!
Good luck in stopping them. You will be advised to use the Telephone Preference service as they seem to be unable tosort the problem ar source "There database or may not wish to"

I recently had a cold call from Talktalk, and they offered me a package that sounded great! I agreed to change from BT (Great customer service) to TalkTalk( >:( ). I got a letter from BT saying i'd be charged for terminating my contract, so I decided against it. But TalkTalk customer service has struck again! After two hours on the phone and being cut off THREE! times, I finally got through. When I got there, they said it was too late to change. However, when I threatened a court appearance they were most co-operative. Could this spark a new era for TalkTalk?

talktalk took over my phone provider Tele2 in 2006, unfortunately for me I chose to change my bank from RBS to Nationwide in January of 2006 and I provided Tele2 with my new bank details
from which they took two months payments before being taken over by talktalk, they however did not pass on the correct bank details for my account and talktalk sent me a snotty letter in May 2006 saying they could not access my RBS account, and they call themselves communications companies, they do not communicate with each other in those situations do they. I have now moved home and guess what talktalk controlled the calls for the people we bought the house from, I am expecting big problems from them any day soon because we are Sky customers but I know that I have used a phone in the house that still has talktalk controlling it.

I agree with all that is bad about Talk-Talk, I also am thinking about cancelling my Direct Debit just in order to get their attention, if they want something from you, well its is a different story.

I won't bore you all with the 6 hours and 18 minutes spent holding or smashing my metaphorical face into a brick wall. Not so much lions lead by donkeys more morons mislead by cretins.

Go to plusnet - comparatively ace!

It is clear to me that your systems are su-standard and can not keep up with your marketing and continue to fail your customers with delay in connecting, it is time you placed your clockwork toy in the bin and invested in a system that can cope at peak times.

TalkTalk are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Agents are often based in India and their level of English language is dreadful. That is if you can actually get them to answer the phone.

STAY AWAY - JOIN ANY OTHER COMPANY THEN TalkTalk

Can anyone suggest why, after at least two 45 minute 'phone calls to overseas call centres, it has been impossible to get a RAN number and a plastic bag sent to my address to return a router that I said I didn't want in the first place ? I carefully followed the instructions on the "How To Return Your Router" sheet, which gave the correct customer service number to ring. The first time the customer service (?) lady obviously didn't have a clue what I was wanting to do so she put me through to the technical department. (How much technology is in a plastic bag and returns label !). After each "holding on" and "transferring" stage you have to repeat your name, address, contract number, 'phone number, date of birth etc, etc. The Technical Department did try to be helpful and I agreed it wasn't really his resposibility. He then gave me a number which he assured me was the correct one and they'd definitely sort it out. - - yes, you guessed it - it was the first number I had called ! ! It might be amusing if it wasn't so frustrating . The irony of it is, that the depot who receives these unwanted routers (if any ever manage to get returned) is only a twenty minute drive away from me - but no doubt without a Returns Authorised Number they wouldn't accept it.

I went for Talk Talks offer to take over my phone line rental to save a couple of quid and get only one bill a month. I already have their broadband. After 3 weeks I got an email saying they can't offer me the deal because the line is poor quality..sent an email to BT, who phoned me within half an hour to explain they signed over the line to T T and can't touch it.I haven't had a line for two weeks now...have sent two emails to them and sent 2 letters the their customer services in Birmingham..not a word from them ! I'm not spending pounds trying to phone them from my mobile. To add insult to injury they sent me a letter to tell me they can't keep proving me with Broadband because I don't have a phone line !! How stupid are these people ??
